Paris's POV

Today is the big day that everyone has been waiting for since my dad got out of the hospital. It's almost as exciting as the day Xcape came out, but we are all nervous for what might just happen.

There are supposed to be security guards circled around the entire building, and on the inside. There are going to be metal detectors and scans for every person that enters.

There are going to be over a million people there, we assume, so that process is going to take a very long time.

I stare at myself in the mirror and finish applying my foundation and fixing my eye make up. Natalie walks in as I am doing so, and I smile at her through the mirror.

"You ready, lil sis?" I ask and she smiles and nods. I turn around and look at her, examining her outfit and taking in her raw beauty. She never wore make up and hardly ever dressed up, but today she looks absolutely stunning.

I pat the stool next to mine, and Natalie walks over to me and sits down. I run my fingers through my hair and try to think about what I want to do with it. I just recently cut it, so it's short now, and there's not much that I really can do with it anymore.

"Why don't you put on any make up?" I ask and Natalie smiles and shakes her head. She stares at me through the mirror, and I watch her from the corner of my eye as I continue to even out my mascara.

"I think you would look really pretty with it, Nat." I say, turning my head.

"I just don't like it, really, I guess." Natalie says and I sigh, turning my entire body to face her.

"Just let me try, please?" I ask and she sighs, giving in to my pleading. I smile widely and grab my foundation from my desk. I twist open the lid and dab a cotton ball on the opening, then tell Natalie to close her eyes as I apply it to her face.

"Your skin is a little darker than mine, so I hope this doesn't end up looking weird on you." I say and she chuckles in a single breath.

"Maybe it'll just make me a little paler than usual." she says and I smile, but don't say anything. I finish with the foundation, then grab my mascara and tell my sister to open her eyes and widen them.

When I lean toward her, she leans back and I smile and lower my arms.

"I'm not gonna poke you, just trust me." I say and she leans toward me again. I begin to apply the mascara and she whines but I smile.

"You look great, don't worry." I say and she replies with a monotone "okay".

When I'm finally done applying all make up to my little sister that I want to, I lean back and smile. Natalie then slowly opens her eyes and looks at me, and I gasp, smiling. I gesture toward the mirror, and Natalie slowly turns her body. She smiles widely when she sees herself, and I nod in approval.

"I told you." I say and she presses her lips together tightly, nodding.

A few knocks sound at my door and Natalie and I simultaneously turn around and see our father standing in the door way. He gapes when he sees Natalie's make up and I nod once again.

"I know right?" I say and he nods.

"Um..." he begins, shaking his head and smiling. "are you guys ready to go? The boys are waiting down stairs."

"Um, yeah we'll be down in a minute." I say and my dad nods, then walks away.

"That's what you want to wear?" I ask and Natalie looks down at her outfit, then back up at me and nods.

"Okay, then let's go!" I say and she sighs with a smile. "Big day for you lil sis."

"I know, I'm really nervous." Natalie says and I shake my head.

"You don't need to be. You got this." I reassure her and she nods. I then gesture toward the door, and follow her out of my room and down the stairs into the living room where the rest of our family is waiting to leave.

"Wow, Nat, you look great!" everyone compliments and she blushes, thanking each of them individually.

"Alright, well let's head out before we're any later than we already are." grandpa Joseph says and Natalie's face falls.

"We're late?" she asks, then he laughs and she nervously smiles.

"No, we're not late." grandma Katherine says and Natalie sighs of relief.

After a few more words, everyone piles out of the front door and into seperate cars.

The drive will be long, but the event is worth the wait.
