Oceania Jadewell's Forest

Fuji's POV

It's been 12 years since i've been in here.

I'm now 18 and a hard working girl, though sometimes I get lonely here because i have no friends.

I don't remember how my dad looks like anymore but I still have the necklace he gave me with his initial on it.

"Z" was his initial.

I don't remember how he looked like or sounded like.

The villagers inside Oceania Jadewell's Forest took care of me and i appreciated that. But sometimes I just think about hi-

"Fuji! We caught a lobster! Here, go cook it and get it ready by dinner."  A male villager stabbed the lobster with a sharp stick and gave the lobster to me.

What the-?! The lobster bit me! Darn it.

Here in Oceania Jadewell's Forest, we are close to the beach so everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner we find sea animals in the sea and wash them, cook them and eat them.

Well of course we don't always eat sea animals. We also cook on our own. For example, porridge or other stuff.

"Fuji! Is the lobster ready?"

"Yes yes yes, here. I'm not that hungry so you all can eat it without me." I said as I went inside the house and went upstairs.

"Well suit yourself"

I lied down on my bed, sighing in loneliness. Sure the villager's kids make me laugh and happy but sometimes i just want someone to talk to me..or laugh with me or just someone that's like me.

I'm super bored. But suddenly i thought of an idea. That i never knew would change my life forever.

"Hey guys? I'm thinking of well..going somewhere further than this place." I was holding my blue brief-case with all my things inside. Warm clothes, food, water, sketching book, toothbrush, toothpaste and more things.

"What?! Why do you want to go? Remember those bad people that were sent by someone to attack you? They could be anywhere! What if you get hurt, huh?"

"I won't! I've been practicing my fighting skills and i know how to defend myself. And besides I have all my safety weapons inside my briefcase."

"...Well if that makes you happy, we'll let you go."

They went closer to me and placed their hand on my forehead and other hand on my shoulder.

"May Fuji be safe during this long journey of hers. We love you Fuji, we'll always do. Now go along to your journey."

They hugged me as tears shed their eyes. I've been here for 12 years.

Now it's time to start my journey. I stepped on the dry leaves and sticks. As i was walking i looked back to the villagers who took care of me.

I smiled as I waved.

And this is how my adventure started.
