At the small cabin:
"It's convenient that this was here wasn't it?" Asked Akaza laughing a bit.
"Yeah I guess so." Giggled D/N.
Akaza looked down as he opened the door. D/N quickly followed behind him.
Out of nowhere, a noise startled them both. They squeezed each others hands and looked down only to see a little mouse near the wall. They relaxed their shoulders and realized they were holding hands. Quickly, D/N let go of Akaza's hands, blushing. Akaza was also blushing, but just stared at D/N.
"So, where are we going to sleep through the day?" Asked D/N quietly.
"Well..." Started Akaza. "Let's look around."
They started toward a door that was nearest to them. Akaza quickly opened the door. There was a small bed and dresser, with an opened window with flowers outside. There was one small red higanbana. Around it were yellow Japanese Kerrias.
"Wow," Started D/N. "It's... beautiful out the window."
"Yes it is," Akaza began. "Just like you-" He held his hand to his mouth.
"What was that?" D/N asked curiously.
"Oh! Nothing! I just... uh... said how beautiful the flowers are! Yeah!..." Stammered Akaza.
"Okay?..." D/N said. "Well, let's see if there's another bedroom."
"Right! Of course." Agreed Akaza.
What's up with him? Why's he acting like that? Wait...
D/N stopped dead in her tracks and turned toward Akaza.
"Woah! Is there something wrong?" Akaza asked, almost bumping into D/N.
"D-do you... I-..." D/N kept glancing at Akaza then away again. "It's just that... I was wondering... why- uh..." Akaza just stared at her confused. "What? What's wrong?"
D/N glanced at him, "Oh never mind! It wasn't important anyway..."
She quickly walked through the next doorway. Akaza quickly followed her out. The doorway seemed to lead to a little dining room.
"Aw, this is a cute dining room." D/N cooed. "Look at the little photos!"
Akaza was already focused on one picture. It was one of a man and woman wearing formal clothing. It looked like they were kissing.
"Are you okay, Akaza?" Asked D/N walking over to him.
"I-I don't know. I just feel connected to this photo somehow." Reassured Akaza.
They just stared at each other.
"You know... I'm just curious," Started D/N. "What was your backstory? I'll tell you mine first!" D/N started begging.
"I already told you. I don't know anything about my backstory." Akaza muttered.
"Alright..." Began D/N. "I'll just tell you mine anyways, okay?"
"Okay I guess." Mumbled Akaza.
She began to explain how she was abused and what she had seen when she woke up. She also shared how Muzan made her a demon. "I'm sorry that happened..." Apologized Akaza. "It's alright!" D/N promised. "Anyway, it's your turn now."
Akaza's face turned grim. "I already told you! I don't know!" "I- I'm sorry." D/N apologized.. Akaza stood there just thinking. "Well- thank you for sharing your backstory with me, D/N-kun."
D/N blushed and replied, "You're welcome Akaza-kun."
She walked to a small living room and sat down on the ground. "I think I can sleep on the floor if you would like the bedroom."
Akaza looked over at her and smiled. "You don't have to do that. You can sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the floor."
D/N smiled and walked over to Akaza. She pecked him on the cheek and ran to her bed. Akaza stood there in shock and felt his cheek.

I- I... what just happened? I feel so confused but so good at the same time. How can someone feel both of those things so strongly at the same time!?
Akaza walked toward the room that D/N was sleeping in. He walked over to her and turned her face towards him. He quickly kissed her on the lips and walked back out but D/N's quiet murmur stopped him. "Wait, you can stay in here. Just sleep on the floor in here." She dropped a pillow down next to her on the floor.
Akaza walked over and laid down.
After a while, he heard D/N speak. "Hey Akaza? Are you still awake?"
"Yes I am."
"Can you sit up here with me for a second?" She asked while she sat up.
"Of course." He answered. He quickly sat up in the bed.
D/N looked into his yellow eyes. "Do you ever regret becoming a demon?"
Akaza thought for a moment. I don't really remember becoming a demon. If I could, I probably would want to see what a human life would be like."
D/N looked at him closely. She slowly moved in closer and Akaza did the same. They kissed. It was a quick, small kiss.

They quickly pulled away. Akaza smiled a bit at D/N and got down from the bed they were just sitting on. He put his head on his pillow and went to sleep without a word.
D/N laid back down and pulled a small blanket on her.
How did that happen? I was just drawn to do that. I've never done that before.
D/N laid there for a while thinking, but quietly started to sleep.
