"There's no way we can finish this by April 2nd," Tobi looked at the two of us as if we were mad, and began laughing.

Then he broke into a pained yell as Fareed uppercutted him in the stomach.
"JESUS, FAR! YOU DON'T GOTTA DO THAT-" Tobi choked out.

I rolled my eyes. "Seriously, dude... You gotta stop reminding us of the deadline."
Fareed nodded. "It's already stressful enough; it doesn't help when you do that."

Tobi winced and rolled his eyes, brushing away our protests. "Yeah, yeah, whateeever. Let's just keep working on it, okay?!" Tobi turned the laptop towards himself.
"I don't like doing this group project any more than you do. Everyone's stuck working with strangers." I brush my hair aside and turn my head towards the window.
"Says you," Fareed scoffed. "You're a social butterfly."

Tobi mumbled something. "What did you say? I didn't hear you," I turn my head to look at him, forcing a sad excuse of a curious face.
"I said you're more of a mosquito than a butterfly!"
Fareed uppercutted him again, making Tobi yell. "OW, FOR GOD'S SAKE- I THOUGHT YOU DIDN'T LIKE ROBIN!"
"I attacked you for the bad insult. It was sad."

I chuckled, taking the laptop and beginning to write a short paragraph. I don't think they noticed that I grabbed it.
Tobi winced as he grinned. "Dang, bro. Your chuckle is charming~" He burst into laughter. Fareed rolled his eyes.
I rolled my eyes, too. "It's called rizz. Maybe get some for yourself?"

He slapped my shoulder, salty. "I got rizz, don't worry."
"Where's your girlfriend?"
"... Uuuuh-"
Fareed smirked. "Riiight... Wait, maybe you're g-"

Tobi and Far went silent, suddenly. I did, too.
The sound had just pierced through my ear.
It's unmistakeable.

"What was that."
Silence.
This gave me a bad feeling, sort of, like a premonition.
Something might've happened.

Another one. It seemed somehow louder than the last.

Fareed stood up, half-stumbling to the window.
"... Some people are outside."

And another. This one was even louder.
It sounded as if it were right next to us.

Standing up, I hastily ran to the living room.
My head was blank.

My mum was there.
A man was there, too.

With something in his grasp.

My heart sunk.

And
then
I
went
unconscious.
