Rei Ohashi

Claire POV

Rae Taylor was sleeping in my bed again. However this wasn't my bed nor was this my room and Rae looked different. When Rae woke up she smiled at me, until she realised where she was.

Rae shouted in surprise upon realising we weren't at the Royal Academy.

"Rei? Are you alright up there?" A woman called.

Rae nervously replied, "Yeah I'm alright mom."

"Alright, be sure to get dressed for school."

Rae ran to the window and opened the curtain. She seemed very stressed.

"Oh no, no no no, why am I back?" Rae panicked, then she remembered I was here. "And how are you here with me?"

"Commoner, where are we?" I asked

"I'm not sure how to explain." Said Rae before going over to a cabinet before pulling out what I can only describe as a thin book. She showed it to me and I was surprised.

On the front was a picture of me, the Princes and Rae. "Why am I on the cover of this strange book?"

"It's a video game, in the game you play as Rae Taylor and try to romance one of the three Princes." Rae explained but I still didn't understand.

"But you're Rae."

"In the world in this game I was Rae Taylor. But we're in my world now, here my name is Rei Ohashi." Rae said.

"Rei Ohashi? Rei what is going on?"

"Ms Claire, you're a character in a story and I went into your story. Somehow we are no longer in the story and in my world." Rei explained

I think I finally understood what Rei was trying to tell me. I was so overwhelmed I fainted.

Rei woke me up with the help of her mother. Mrs Ohashi was confused why I was here but Rei explained I was an exchange student. Mrs Ohashi reprimanded Rei for accepting an exchange student without consulting her beforehand.

When we were alone with Rei I had to ask questions. Apparently we are in a world without magic. I put it to the test and I was unable to use my magic.

Rei got changed into an, interesting uniform. She called it a sailor style school uniform. She pulled out a second school uniform.

"I can't just leave you here all day. If I leave you here with my mom she'll take you with her for her daily activities. This is the best way for me to keep an eye on you." Said Rei, giving me the uniform.

It was so unsophisticated and simple unlike the Royal Academy. Rei led me to a bathroom where I could get changed. When I changed Rei gave me her starry eyed look.

"You're so cute in that uniform." Said Rei. "I gotta take a picture."

Rei pulled out a strange device, I heard clicking noises from it. When I asked about it Rei explained that it was a phone. People could use it to communicate over long distances as well as many other functions.

Rei showed me the pictures she took of me. She then showed me the other functions of the phone. She then introduced me to google, I was amazed by it, all the information was at the tap of a button.

After a very bland breakfast Rei took me to her school. She brought me to the teachers lounge and managed to convince them I was a new student. I was later introduced to Rei's class.

"Alright students, I'd like to introduce a new foreign student. Ms François why don't you come up and tell the class about yourself." Said the teacher

I was somewhat nervous introducing myself in a world that's not my own.
