Kenji was heading back to the hotel before he heard his name seeing Aoi.
Aoi: Long time no see.
Kenji: I guess so.
Aoi: How have you been since the accident?
Kenji: Okay, things have been looking good for me, but enough about me, what about you?
Aoi: Not too good to be honest.
Kenji: Sorry the here about that.
Aoi: Things haven't been to best since we "let you go".
Kenji: I thought Tachibana had everything under control, well figure, but how are Maru and Takuya doing?
Aoi: The team let them go as well after they told Tachibana about his ego.
Kenji: That's really hard to hear.
Aoi: Their about to let me go too.
Kenji: What, why, you're doing a great job as manager.
Aoi: Yeah, but when the school found out you used to play with us they said I should get you back or I'll lose my role as manager, they've been seeing your performance.
Kenji: I'm-
Aoi: I'll get to the point, I don't have it in me to bring you back, I'm not that type of person, I just wanted to congratulate you on your resent form and you being able to move on from what the school put you through.
Kenji: I... I don't know what to really say.
Aoi: You don't really need to say anything, I'll see you around.
Kenji: Can we talk a little bit, I know a place not too far from here.
Aoi: .....
...
Kenji and Aoi were at the hotel's restaurant with a fancy looking plate in front of Aoi.
Aoi: Uh.
Kenji: It's on me.
Aoi: Thanks.
Kenji: I'm not going to say this is a normal negotiation, but I can't leave you like this.
Aoi: You can't go back to that team!
Kenji: I wasn't going to, but I can't leave you like this mostly not after everything you did for me.
Aoi: I don't think I've done that much.
Kenji: Just know I appreciate everything you've did, so I'll talk to my sister on behalf of you, and.
Aoi: I'd appreciate that a lot, thank you.
Kenji: Don't thank me yet.
