sugarcoat, a puzzle peice story

part four: arriving that the island

puzzle piece woke up when the boat arrived to the island, they were going to be competing in. she was led to a small place where they would be revealed to the other contestants. she stood in the corner, away from everyone else. when Me-phone pulled the curtains down, the curtain itself slowly fell onto puzzle pieces face due to wind or something, she wasn't quite sure. she took the curtain off of herself, only to see everyone already mingling. she decided to go up to candle and slip her the drawing, only to have something on her back explode and cover the drawing and her in yellow paint. everyone was covered in some kind of paint, but puzzle piece was too busy morning the loss of her amazing drawing to care. she sighed, but she felt the warm flame of the candle approach her, and look at the paint covered drawing and said, with a warm smile on her face. " I can tell that the drawing was amazing. it's a shame that fate had to change it in this way" when candle spoke, it almost made puzzle piece feel like she was in the woods again, talking with taco. she missed taco, but puzzle piece knew she had to move on, and so she did.

Me-phone announced that the teams would depend on their paint color, and everyone moved to their team. puzzle piece stuck to the back though, and almost wasn't seen by anyone, and Me-phone knew that someone was missing. " Are we missing anyone?" Me-phone called out, which is when puzzle piece stepped up to join her team. everyone looked at the oddly short puzzle piece, but nobody seemed to mind her, and she didn't mind them. she infact, was currently writing down who was in her team, for when they would eventually wash the paint off of themselves. there was candle, the weird spoon, a paintbrush, what she could only guess was the yin-yang symbol, a glass of orange juice, and the floor a literal face on the floor to be exact. 

puzzle piece wasn't partuly excited for the first challenge, you know, hurling herself off of a cliff and all that, but she didn't want to admit she was afraid of heights. candle however, had different plans because she took puzzle piece's hand, along with the hand of the weird spoon, and jumped off the cliff with them. all three of them landed in the pipe, and were taken to the finish line, granting their team immunity. the weird spoon was seemingly unhappy with the experience, but puzzle piece was amazed. and the only thing on her mind
