Orbii was in an alleyway sitting against the side of a brick building, looking inside an empty can of tuna. He sighed, throwing it on the ground, making a clanging noise as it hit the cement. He held onto his stomach as it growled. Orbii sighed as he covered his face with his hands.

"Ugh, I'm starving! Did you find anything yet?" Oorbo said as he appeared beside the dumpster.

"No," Orbii sniffled. "I guess it's just another one of those days."

Oorbo sat next to him. "We haven't had a bite to eat in almost a week now."

"I know," he said. "People are getting used to us stealing all the time."

"Yeah, why can't they just spare a few bites?"

"I don't know."

"I hate seeing my ribs every day. If mom didn't get sick and die, we'd still be home and not abandoned in the streets."

"Don't be so selfish, our mom did her best to care for us. You should be thankful."

"Thankful? Look at us! We're starving and alone and tired-"!

"That wasn't her fault!"

"Then whose was it? We didn't do this to ourselves!"

"Stop trying to shift blame that doesn't exist! Nobody is responsible for this and you shouldn't blame mom for it! You're lucky to still be alive"

Oorbo huffed, crossing his hands.

Orbii sighed, "Please don't catch an attitude with me. I know you're hungry and cranky, but so am I and I'm not in the mood today. Besides, who's been feeding your scraggly behind all this time? You're lucky to still have fat on that body of yours."

Oorbo rolled his eyes.

Orbii squinted at him, "You're such a baby," he mumbled before he looked at the orange sky. "The sun's setting, come on we gotta find somewhere to sleep," he said, getting up.

They walked around until they found a blue, metal bench not too far away. Orbii took off his black backpack, pulled out a blanket, which was the only thing inside, and laid it over them after laying down.

"Goodnight, Oorbo."

"Goodnight."
