Short Chapter cus there's not much I could write if Michael's in prison lol
Elsie was not a chaotic person. She was bold and quick-witted, but not chaotic. She sat in Tommy's tea room in silence with Finn and Isiah. The whole family had been taken. Every one of them.
John.
Arthur.
Polly.
And Michael.
Michael is gone.
"I can't believe Tommy," Isiah said quietly.
"He's gone mad," Finn added. "My brothers are goin' to be executed, for fucks sake."
Elsie breathed out slowly. "Do you really think he can save them?"
"He's Tommy, El. He always thinks 5 steps ahead," Isiah shrugged. Isiah's eyes lingered on her and he didn't even think about it. He had caught Elsie and Michael in bed this morning and now Michael's going to be hung.
The murder of Father Hughes and arson.
Michael was a goner.
"Are you alright, Elsie?" Finn asked. "You look like you're turning white."
"I wish I stayed in the village," she whispered. "Fuck Small Heath."
Isiah and Finn snickered. "Fuck Small Heath!"
Tommy came barreling out of his office where he was hiding. "Why the fuck are you kids still here?"
"Sorry, Tom," Isiah said. "My father said to stay here with Finn and Elsie. They need a ride back to town."
Tommy nodded. "I'm going to London. You three are welcome to join me."
Finn laughed unsurely. "For what?"
"Fuck Small Heath," Tommy said, mocking their words. The two boys laughed slightly and stood up.
"Tom, can I just say you're a dick?" Finn said, slightly scared of his brother but even more angry his brothers were going to be hung.
"Yep. That I am, Finn. You kids coming?"

"I've never been to London!" Isiah gawked as he stared out of the window. "The girls, Finn. Look at the girls!"
Finn snickered. "Yes, Siah. I can't wait."
Elsie was still silent and stared out of the window from the passenger seat.
"You alright, Elsie?" Tommy asked.
"Thomas, are you certain you can save them?" she croaked.
Tommy kept his hand on the wheel. "I will try my fucking best. Michael will be alright."
