~Part 5~

"So... you're my brother's girlfriend?", Jieun asked calmly.

y/n had her eyes wide opened and choked on her saliva. "G-girlfriend"

'Me that guy's girlfriend? Are you kidding me?'

"Yes, aren't you his girlfriend?", Jieun eyebrows furrowed.

Y/n looked everywhere but not her eyes. She cleared her throat and spoke.

"Ahh yes. I'm his girlfriend", upon hearing those words left y/n mouth, jieun smile spread even wider.

"Woah, I can't believe that my brother finally have a girlfriend"

"Eh? He's never had one before?", Jieun nodded her head as a yes

"He did but something happened between them"

"Something happened?", Y/n asked, her eyebrows joined in confusion while girl just nodded her head.

"Yes and from that day, he's never had one. It seems like he has stopped loving woman but thankfully u have captured his heart", jieun smiled genuinely.

"Mrs.shin", jieun called the woman who was standing by the kitchen counter, making their lunch.

The woman turned around and looked at the two girls in front of her.

"Oh jieun?...and", mrs.shin say.

"Oh, I'm y/n. Bae y/n", she said and bowed slightly.

The woman just looked at her in disbelief as a smile slowly made it way on her lips.

"Oh I'm Mrs.shin, the mai-", she got cut off by jieun.

"No, you're not. You're just like my mother", jieun smiled and walked towards mrs. Shin and slowly wrapped her arms around her waist.

Y/n just looked at the two women in front of her with a smile on her lips. She never had a chance to feel her mother's love.

Seeing jieun and Mrs.shin hugging in front of her somehow broke her heart.

'she really missed her mother'

Little did she know that Mrs.shin also looked at her as she started to tear up a little bit but she just shrugged her feelings off and focused on what was happening at the moment.

Just by hearing y/n spoke her name, she could tell that she was her... daughter, but she couldn't let her know.

Not without sunwoo's permission. But what y/n spoke next made her heart clenched.

"C-can I hug you too?",Y/n asked.

Mrs. Shin smiled and nodded. She broke the hug and spread her arms as she welcomed y/n in her hug.

"Thank you", y/n said between the hug.

"No worries, honey"

For some reason, y/n felt safe in her arms. She had been longing for her mother hug and finally, she got a hug from someone even though that someone wasn't her mother.

The Kim's residence.

"I heard that you've finally got a girlfriend. Mine showing us how she looks like?", Mr.kim said.

Sunwoo furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at both his father and step- mother.

'How the hell does the rumour spread that fast?', he thought as his parents were waiting for his response.

"Yes and what about her? Are you against our relationship?", Sunwoo couldn't help but ask.

"Ofcourse not. Do you have her picture or something?", Mrs.kim smile.

Sunwoo nodded and tucked his right hand inside his jeans and pulled out y/n picture.

He gave it to his parents. Upon seeing the pictures, his parents had their eyebrows furrowed.

His father looked up and their eyes met. "Isn't she..."

"Yes, she is"

"But how did you find her?", Mrs.kim ask.

The two corners of his lips curved slightly upward. "She came here to find her mother"

"When are you gonna let me meet my mom?", Y/n asked as she looked at sunwoo who was walking inside the room and removed his denim jacket before placing it on a mini couch he had in his room.

"Soon"

Y/n rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Seriously? Why not now?"

Sunwoo turned his head to face her, looking at her with a bored expression. But she just looked at him, unamused.

"Soon or never?"

Y/n poked her inner cheek with her tongue and looked around the room.

"What are looking for?", Sunwoo voice was calm.

"Nothing. Just tired looking at u"

"What?", Sunwoo asked in disbelief.

No one rejected him before. Except her, bae. Y/n.

"You heard me"

"Tired, huh?", Sunwoo put his phone down and pulled her towards him before pinning her on his bed.

Y/n eyes widened from the sudden action of his. "W-what are you doing?"

"Hovering above you"

"What? Get off me", y/n try to push him.

"No. Not until you let me kiss u", sunwoo said as his dark brown orbs gazed straight into his eyes.

Everyone would fall for his gaze of his. Everyone, including her. Y/n gulped as sunwoo leaned in closer and closer to her face until they both could feel each other hot breath on their lips.

Just and inch before their lips touched, sunwoo spoke. "Let me kiss u or I'll not let you meet your mother"

"Try me", she challenged him.

"Are you sure about that, baby girl? You sure you won't regret it?", Sunwoo raised both his eyebrows to tease her but she gave him no response.

"I said, try me. And then you'll know whether I regret it or not"

"Confident much, huh?"

Y/n flashed him a smug smile. "Well, I'm bae y/n, bae mal chin daughter"

Sunwoo clenched his jaw the moment he heard that name slipped out from her mouth but he tried to control himself.

"Oh really? And I cannot wait to see him, soon", sunwoo smirked and brushed his lips against her before pulling his body away from her and plopped his body next to hers.

"Can you please tell me what exactly happened between you and him?", Y/n turned her body, facing sunwoo.

Sunwoo let out a scoff. "Too bad. I can't do that. It's between him and my father"

"Then what does that have to do with you?"

This time, sunwoo faced her with a smug look on his face as she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

He moved his body closer to hers and whispered in her ear.

"Nothing. That's between them and this is between us, baby girl"

Y/n put both her hands on his hard chest and slightly pushed him away as her heart couldn't take it anymore.

It almost lost its beat due to how closely his body to hers. Heat rushed towards her cheeks making her look down, hiding her burning red cheeks.

Sunwoo noticed how flustered she was and pulled his body away from hers. He chuckled upon seeing her reaction.

'cute as always'

Sunwoo remembered what his parents asked him.

"Y/n", she hummed in response.

"Marry me"
