THE NIGHT WAS COLD AND QUIET.
The sky above thundered and poured rain mercilessy down. The sea crashing loudly against the stone pillars that held the bridge on way to the palace.

I stood, covered in a small shade, watching everything take place. The activity of the guards wasn't as secure, which is something that I could use to our advantage.

I watched carefully from a distance, in the shadows. Silently.

"Is it almost time?" Ronan, now asked for the twelfth time, breathing loudly on my neck.

Spoke too soon.

"No, not yet" I said, irritation surfacing in to place. I don't understand why I was paired with Ronan for this mission.

"Well then when?" He asked, making me roll my eyes. "Maybe if you stopped asking so much, then something would actually happen" I suggested, instantly shutting him up and leaving silence around us.

We both watched the guards below us, the rain picking up and pouring down even harder. The waters hit harshly once more against the pillars and stone walls.

"Do you think she's okay?" Ronan questioned, not letting his eyes leave the guards. I sighed, remembering how hard it has been for Avy for this past year. Everyone thought that it was best for her to leave the missions alone for awhile.

But when it came to Avyanna Blackbeak Crochan Havilliard, nothing stands in her way of doing things and getting things done.

"Well, I don't know" I answered his question, honestly. Really no one knew how Avy felt or whats really going on. All we did was just be there for her and hope for the best.

A guard suddenly fell to the floor. At first, we thought it was just because of exhaustion but when when every single man fell down to the ground.

We knew then something was happening.

It was the purple lightning in the sky that indicated what or rather who was happening.

The assassin of Adarlan came to play a game of death.

Only that she will be the one to win, leaving others to the mercy of her blade or powers.

KILLING ALL THOSE MEN was childs play. Hopefully Perseus and Ronan would get the signal and move quickly inside so we can move quickly out.

Jumping from roof to roof, looking for an enterance for me to sneak inside and came for the person we planned to kill tonight.

I unfortunately had to run into a few men. I only had killed those who patrolled the bridge.

They immediately attacked, making me dodge their attacks and throw them off the tower. While the others, I brutally gutted out. Well now theres more blood on my hands.

Like I care.

Finding an opening, I climbed into the library. I jumped onto a table and then the marble floor. Through the large windows, the moonlight shone. Bouncing heavily onto the floor to the walls and bookshelves.
