The Other World (part 1)

You squealed in delight as your favorite antagonist appeared on the screen. You watched as the mysterious character backflipped off the roof, landing perfectly. "She nailed that!" you exclaimed while watching the battle pan out in front of you. You've watched ninja turtles on TV ever since you were just a little kid. Now you are 16, the same age as the turtles are.

Oh, how wonderful it would be to be in their world. Training with the turtles everyday, eating pizza and watching Space Heroes... But that was only a fantasy. A story you had come up with while bored in class. At least you had the show.

You turned away from the screen as you noticed your mother enter the room. "It's time for bed, y/n. You have school tomorrow." "Can I at least finish this episode?" you pleaded. Your mother sighed as you awaited an answer. "Alright, but then you have to go to bed." You did a fist pump in the air as your mom walked out of the room. "Just in time for my favorite part" You turned back to the screen and watched the remainder of the episode. After the episode concluded, you turned off the TV and put your pajamas on.

Once you were comfy under your comforters, you drifted to sleep...or so you thought. You were jolted awake by a sudden flash of purple light. From the purple light came a spiraling portal by your bedside "What the...?" You questioned as four figures emerged from the portal. "Where the heck are we!?" One of them demanded. You recognized that irritated voice....it almost sounded like...no, it couldn't be...you listened as they heard whispers. "It's dark in here...hold me leo" "No, Mikey, you're fine...Donnie, where are we?"

The tallest figure responded as he pointed a flashlight around your darkened room "I'm not sure...it looks like..a room?" Eventually, his flashlight found its way to a confused, yet amazed face. Leo stepped in front of Donnie. "Um, hello miss...this is all just a dream." "oh...yeah, i thought so..." Deep down, you had hoped that it wasn't, but it didn't make enough sense to be real. "Donnie! Take us back home! And I'm banning you from testing your tech on us again "Oh come on Raph, this was your idea to test it when it wasn't ready!" Raph turned away with a grunt "Whatever, let's just go" he demanded once more. "Wait, don't go! ...please"

You had sprung from the bed and were now standing and facing the figures. "Can she come with us, Leo, please!" Mikey asked. "Sorry, she can't come with us." Leo stated. Mikey pouted as Donnie fired up the portal again and everyone jumped through. Without thinking, you jump through at the last minute just as the portal closes, entering a strange tunnel. Everything was spinning, it made you dizzy. If I just close my eyes, it'll stop spinning... you closed her eyes and went into a deep trance...
