Today was Crispmas Eve, The Cookie Kingdom fluttered with holiday cheer in every corner. festive lights, decorations, and the sound of Crispmas music playing from the radios out of the town's shops filled the atmosphere with warmth and cheer for all.

All, but for one young cookie.

Wizard cookie hid away from the festivities in the Tower of Records, concentrating on nothing but his own magic. He didn't like festivities or the Holidays, he always saw them as unnecessary and a waste of time. he would rather spend that time studying magic than with his friends.

He hunched over on his desk, reading a book about lightning magic, studying the words on every page and reciting it under his scarf in a bitter breath, hoping it will also warm his face from the winter breeze. He placed his book back down on his desk and stepped into a pre-drawn glyph on the floor lit with candles on the corners.

"If the Divine are out there, please, please, PLEASE let me have this one for today..." he begged, looking up at his ceiling. There was nothing but silence in his room, he then sighed before gripping his staff tightly,

Wizard cookie lifted both hands out in the air, then recited the words from the book out loud. The room suddenly shook, the bookshelves quaked and many of the books flew out of the nooks and to the floor. The window flew open after a strong wind pushed it, Almost blowing his hat away.

A black cloud began to form on the ceiling of the room. the roar of thunder and lightning made him nervous, but he was determined that this spell would finally work after many attempts in perfecting it.

He lifted his wand high, and in a split second, a lightning bolt struck the candy-tipped staff. Causing him to flinch and drop the wand, the clouds began to clear and the wind calmed.

"no, no, NO!" he cried

In his frustration he stomped the floor, damaging the carefully drawn glyph under his feet.

"I SPENT SO MANY NIGHTS STUDYING THAT SPELL, IT SHOULD HAVE WORKED!" He ran up to his desk and grabbed the book, and flipped through the pages "what did I do wrong!? AGH!" he threw the large book to the floor, and in a temper tantrum, pushed all the papers and notes from his desk, but doing this, he unintentionally also knocked the inkwells and quills, covering his work in black licorice ink.

"MY NOTES-!" He pulled on the brim of his hat out of anxiety and scrambled to save the pages from being inked, but most of the pages were already covered in large splashes. This aggravated him more, and in his blind rage, Wizard cookie punched the floor with his bare fist but he hurt his hand doing so.

He held his wrist and shook his hand, cursing loudly "STUPID MAGIC- STUPID BOOK- STUPID WAND!" He yelled hunched over.

He tried calming himself down but his breathing was unstable, his anger took over his every thought and it was hard for him to clear his mind.

"I just need air" he stood up and picked up his wand from the floor. it didn't seem to have a scratch on it after that lightning strike.

He gathered his needed items and opened the door of his room. a stairway stood under him and he had to carefully walk down the steps, lifting up his robes in the hopes he wouldn't trip and fall again. At the end of the steps, he opened the front door of the Tower, a cold breeze blew on his face. one of his main ingredients was ice cream, so he never mined it, plus it was good for his hair. but the snow was hard to walk on without slipping.

As he walked down the extra steps, a snowball flew onto his face hitting him very harshly. He quickly looked to see who threw it and saw Snow Sugar cookie and Pancake cookie hiding behind a pile of snow giggling to themselves.
