Reyna sat in the kitchen as she sketched and the doorbell rang. She got up confused and opened it to see Malia,

"Um, Malia?"

"Reyna, right? Stiles' girlfriend,"

She nodded confused as she invited herself in,

"Stiles, the nogitsune is back in and-"

"Okay, Malia, give me a second to call someone," she said,

"Scott, good, get him here too,"

Soon after Scott came over,

"Malia?"

"Don't ask,"

"Stiles is possessed again and we found something in the basement, two things, this picture," she said as she handed it to Scott as he showed Reyna,

"And this," she said as she opened the long cylinder box on her back. The pair looked inside to see a sword.

"Do you have any idea where he might go?"

"No clue,"

"Ok, thank you," said Reyna as she turned to Scott,

"Get this to Kira,"

He left as she turned to Malia again,

"So, where are you planning on going?"

"Home, probably, I don't know the way,"

"Want me to drive you?"

"Yes, please,"

They got into the car as they began in silence,

"So, how did you and Stiles meet?"

"At school, he helped me with my locker after I was on the verge of tearing the entire wall of them down,"

"Wow, that seems the most normal,"

"We got together when I was threatening to jump off the roof when a dark druid took control over my thoughts, it was the first time we said we loved each other," said Reyna casually,

"Well, nevermind then,"

Reyna's phone started ringing. She answered it,

"Rey, can you come to the apartment?" asked Allison,

"Sure, I'll be there in 5,"

After dropping Malia, she got to the loft and walked in with everyone else,

"This is everything non-lethal I could find,"

"Take all of it,"

"What's the plan here?"

"Our best shot right now is for Derek to pick up Stiles' scent at Eichen House, especially if he went through something stressful there,"

"Should all five of us be going to the same place?" asked Noah,

"Where else has Stiles been showing up?"

"School, the hospital," said Reyna,

"Okay, hold on, we did this already, he disappeared, we started looking for him, then walked right into a trap at the hospital,"

"He's getting us to repeat the same moves,"

"So, what do we do? Wait for him to come to us?"

"We can't, not if the oni find him when the sun goes down,"

"Scott's working on them right now, with Kira,"

"That's the problem, we're all trying to outfox the fox," said Chris,

"Listen, I'll understand if anyone wants to back out,"

"I'm not gonna be the first wolf to run from a fox,"

"Apparently I'm carrying the lightsaber,"

"Dad, you, Reyna and Derek hit Eichen House, Sheriff, it's you and me in the hospital, we all meet in the school,"

Derek and Reyna stayed in the door as they watched Chris pack some guns,

"Making sure you have a few lethal options just in case?" said Reyna,

"I like to prepare for the worst,"

They weer in Stiles' bedroom,

"What is all this?" asked Chris as they all joined at the house. "What are these sticky notes for?"

"This is what Stiles and Rey used to try and explain to me about all of... you,"

"Well, maybe it's a message from Stiles,"

"The Real Stiles," said Reyna,

Chris picked up a piece,

"You think there's any reason my name's on the King?" asked Derek,

"You're heavily guarded, though I guess the alarming detail is that... you're one move from being in checkmate,"

"It's not a message from Stiles, it'a threat from the nogitsune,"

"He's at the loft, that's what he's saving,"

"He wants us to come there,"

"Night's falling,"

"This couldn't sound any more like a trap,"

"I don't think it is,"

"Your opinion might be slightly biased," said Chris,

"Hear me out, what we're dealing with here is basically someone who lacks motive, no rhyme, no reason, right?"

"Meaning what?"

"Our enemy is not a killer, it's a trickster, the killing is just a by-product,"

"If you're trying to say it won't kill us, I'm not feeling too confident about that,"

"It won't, it wants irony," said Reyna as she began catching on,

"It wants to play a trick, it wants a joke, all we need to do is come up with a new punch line,"

"The sun is setting, Sheriff, what do you have in mind?"
