When you're a kid you don't care if something could change the course of your life or possibly kill you. All you think is "Woah, What's this?". Dear younger me, don't go into the woods.
I woke up in my bed grateful its not the bank of a river. Turning off my annoyingly obnoxious alarm. Getting dressed in slacks and a button up sweater, I look in the mirror pondering why do we even go to school.
In the bus I see my friend Matt sitting by the window. He says, "How's my favorite superhero?" "SHHHHH ARE YOU NUTS?" I whisper yell. "You know no one can know." "
"Yeah yeah. Secret identity and shit. I'm just messing with you."
"Fine." I sigh as we pull up to the high school.
Walking in you see Hailey Quartz with her petty little "friends".
"They flock to her like baby birds."
"Yeah?"
"Oh Hailey Momma i want some gossip. Could we go to lunch pweety pwease."
"HAH-" He slaps his mouth BARELY holding in his laughter.
Hailey and her evil flock glare in our direction as we pick up our pace giggling.
First period, french.
I actually enjoy learning a new language but Matt can fall asleep within the first 5 words.
Eventually we get through the day and I tell him I have THInGs To dO.
My dad texts me
IRONDAD
Hey y/n. Are you studying at Matt's today?
Yes dad. I will be home at 7.
Oh OK. I was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with Pepper and Peter.
Ah Ok sure! What time?
6pm sharp at skettis
Sounds like a plan!
Obviously I'm not going to Matt's.
