Erky and Perky are two bugs who live in a hot dog stand. They have been friends for years, but they never knew that their friendship was more than just being best buds. One day Erky decides to tell his friend how he feels about him...but will it be the same way? Or is this going to ruin everything between them? Read on! (I don't own any of these characters)
"Erky, I'm going to the bathroom. Be right back." Perky said as he walked away from Erky and into a small room that was in their hot dog stand home.
As soon as Perky left, Erky sighed heavily and looked down at his feet sadly. He had been trying for years now to tell him how much he loved him but every time something would happen or someone else would come along before he could say anything about it...and then there were times when they got so close together that all of those feelings came rushing up inside of him like an unstoppable force! But still nothing ever happened between them because neither one knew what the other felt towards each other until today...today is finally gonna be different than any day before this one! Today will be special no matter what happens after this moment; even if things don't go well with telling Perk'y how much I love 'im..I'll always have these memories forever!" thought Erky happily while smiling brightly at himself in a mirror on the wall next to where he stood waiting patiently for his friend to come back.
"Erky, I'm done now." Perky said as he walked out of the bathroom and over towards Erky who was still standing in front of a mirror on the wall next to him. "What's wrong? You look like you're about ready to burst!" asked Perk'y curiously while looking at his best bud with concern written all over his face for him.
"I...uh..well..." stuttered Erky nervously before taking a deep breath and saying what had been on his mind since they first met each other years ago; "...Perk', there is something that I've wanted ta tell ya fer so long but never got up da courage until today! Ya see....I love ya more than anythin' else in dis world an' if it wasn't fer yer friendship wit me den I don't know where or how my life would be right now without havin' someone special like you by my side every day! So will ya please do me one favor?" asked Erky hopefully while staring into those beautiful blue eyes of his best friend's.
"What is it?" asked Perky curiously while looking at Erky with a confused look on his face as he wondered what this favor could be that was so important to him right now...and why did he say all of those things about loving and needing someone special like himself in his life? "I'll do anything for you, buddy!" said Perk'y happily before smiling brightly at the blue bug who stood there staring back into those beautiful yellow eyes of his own; making both bugs blush deeply from being caught up in each other's gaze!
Erky smiled widely when he heard how much Perk'y cared about him too but still didn't know if they were talking about the same thing or not until today....today will finally tell them once and for all whether their friendship has turned into something more than just two friends hanging out together every day! Today would change everything between them forever no matter what happens after this moment because nothing can ever take away these memories from either one of us even if we don't end up staying together afterwards..." thought Erky happily while smiling brightly at his best friend who was still standing there staring back into those beautiful yellow eyes of his own; making both bugs blush deeply from being caught up in each other's gaze!
"I want ya ta kiss me." said Erk'y softly before leaning forward and closing the distance between them with a gentle peck on Perky's lips that made him gasp out loud when he felt how soft they were against his own. "Er...what are you doing?" asked Perk'y nervously as he looked down at where their mouths had just touched for only one second but it seemed like an eternity to him because this is something new between us now....something more than friendship or even love itself!" thought Pertly excitedly while blushing madly from what happened earlier today which changed everything forever no matter what happens after this moment because nothing can ever take away these memories from either one of us even if we don't end up staying together afterwards..." thought Eremy happily while smiling widely at her best friend who was still standing there staring back into those beautiful yellow eyes of his own; making both bugs blush deeply from being caught up in each other's gaze!
