As requested, I wrote a fluffy drabble follow-up thing to that cheesy one-shot that people liked. Enjoy.

A few weeks have passed since that day, and Aether and Amber have managed to keep their relationship relatively hidden, mostly due to Amber's busy schedule. Just securing a free evening to spend together proved more difficult than anticipated.

"What are your reasons for requesting a day off?"

Amber gulped as she stood before the Acting Grand Master in her office. Jean Gunnhildr was an understanding person, but at this moment, Amber couldn't help but feel the weight of her authority pressing down on her.

Amber scrambled for the words to say. "I uhh... Just needed a break?" She jolted from how bad her answer was.

"Amber?" Jean tilted her head. "Is there something wrong?"

"No..." Amber took a breath. "It's just that, I need some time to do some other things."

"That would be nice," Jean sighed. "Forgive me for prying, but what are 'some other things?'"

"I uhm... I just wanted to spend the day with someone," Amber answered.

"Would that someone be the Honorary Knight, by any chance?"

Amber was flustered. "H-Huh!? Where did that come from!?"

Jean smiled at her. "Well, I recently noticed a dramatic change in his demeanor whenever he stopped by to see you. I figured something had happened."

Amber sighed. "I knew we were obvious."

"It's quite alright. You two do make a cute couple!" Jean laughed. "Your request for time off has been granted. Don't forget to tell me how your date went~"

Amber's face lit up at her response. "Will do! Thanks, Master Jean!"

Excited, Amber left the office in a hurry. But as soon as she was gone, the smile on Jean's face quickly fell into a frown. Her eyes went to the half-finished romance novel sitting on her desk next to the stacks of ever-regenerating paperwork. The Acting Grand Master sat on her chair and sighed.

"I wish I had time to date," she lamented, staring longingly out the window. "To have a man whisk me away in his arms..."

The city was already bustling by the time Amber got to the main square. If it weren't for her Outrider's clothes and the Pyro Vision strapped to her hip, she would've fit in with the rest of the citizens bustling to and fro. As she headed past the city fountain towards the main gate, she spotted a shining blonde standing at the Adventurer's Guild kiosk.

As she went closer, she saw the woman at the kiosk handing the blonde a single piece of paper.

"Those will be your four commissions for the day. Thank you for working with the Adventurer's Guild!"

"Hi, Katherine!" Amber introduced herself.

The woman turned to her with a somewhat surprised look on her face. "Oh, Amber! It's a pleasure to see you. But I must ask. What brings a Knight of Favonius to the Adventurer's Guild?"

Amber shook her head. "I just wanted to speak with this one here. Aether, do you have a moment?"

"Huh?" Aether was a bit surprised that Amber had come out to see him. "Oh, sure. Excuse us."

The two of them walked together, out the city gate and onto the bridge.

"What's up?" Asked Aether. "You don't usually come to see me."
