The sudden sound of the electric doors opening wakes her attention. She's standing in the perfect spot to be able to see the cash register where a tall figure is standing in front.

It's him.

Jungkook.

Even though she can't see his face, she knows it's him. His big, black boots, his oversized black hoodie and his dark long hair.

She walks closer towards them, him and her grandmother.

"You mean Jeongmin? Yes, she's here." She hears her grandmother say. She quickly walks back to where she was standing before and hides behind a big pillar.

Why is she even hiding? What is she doing?

Footsteps coming closer towards her makes her heart race. Calm down Jeongmin. She breaths in and out and emerges from behind the pillar.

What she didn't realize was how close the footsteps already were. She looks up and sees that same piercing she always notices but now not even 10 centimeters away from her face.

Her eyes widen when feeling the heat of his body touching hers. This is her realization moment. She quickly takes a step back.

"Hi," she unintentionally whispers, while still feeling her heart in her stomach.

"Hey," he says as he lifts his hand to make a small wave movement, "I wanted to come by to see you again."

"Why?" Is the first thing that leaves her mouth to what he said.

"I do need a job... and I want to work here."

Jeongmin sighs. She clearly told him that he couldn't. This was for many reasons.

One, Jeongmin likes to work alone. If someone else, with different ideas and different ways of doing things , starts changing the things that she likes about the store she would lose it. The store stays how it is. Exactly how she likes.

Two, Jeongmin is scared of men. Especially of the species she was just inhaling the breath of. Who knows what could happen when she's alone with him?

Three, she will need to pay him. And all the reasons above are enough for her to not want to pay such person.

"You can't get a job here. I told you." She brushes her shoulder against his when walking past him towards the cash register where her grandmother is looking at her with interesting gaze.

But, Jeongmin stops abruptly when she feels a thighs grip on her wrist. Her head turns around to see Jungkook holding her wrist.

"Please Jeongmin. It's just for a week. After that I will be gone," he promises.

A loud groan leaves her mouth before she pulls her arm out of his grip, "Sure, you can have the job. Tomorrow 8 am. If you do anything to my dislikes I will fire you with no regret."

A smile grows on his face, "Thanks!"

The next dag Jungkook arrives five minutes before the clock hitting 8 am.

Jeongmin gave him a list of things he could do throughout the day. One of them being to not get in her way. She didn't want a situation like yesterday to occur again.

He starts with cleaning the windows from the outside. The sun is shining bright so all Jeongmin can see from inside is his trained figure.

He looks quite athletic. If you want to travel the world you must be athletic.

She admires him for a bit longer until she notices his hand stopped moving on the glass. She can't tell if he's looking at her or not. In any case, she turns her head and acts like nothing happened.

With her nails she's tapping on the counter as she's looking at the aisles. In the aisle right in front of her she notices a box of cookies on the concrete floor.

She stands up and walks towards it. She grabs the box and then looks at the shelf. The blue packaged cookies are supposed to be on the highest shelf.

Jeongmin places herself on her toes and stretches out her arms to put the cookies back where they belong.

Slowly she notices she isn't going to reach the upper shelf. Her feet can't hold her body weight anymore and she starts losing her balance. She tries grabbing a hold of the shelf but her hand slips off.

She squeezes her eyes closed, ready to fall to the ground, until she feels two hands on each of her arms holding her tightly.

She quickly regains her balance and turns around to see Jungkook. He lets go of her arms.

"You okay?" he asks with his big, worried eyes.

"Yes, I'm fine," she says before bending down to grab the box of cookies which already fell to the ground before she could. She walks past the boy that just helped, on her way to grab a stool.

"I'm tall," she hears him say behind her.

"I know," she answers while continuing to walk towards the cash register where she sees a small, wooden stool.

Jungkook watches her grab the stool and walk back to him. She places down the stool right in front of him and stands on it to place the cookies on the highest shelf, where they belong.

She looks down at him and smiles, knowing it was way easier if he just put it up there. Jeongmin doesn't want help from him. She didn't even want him to work here. She can do it all alone.

She climbs down from the stool and looks at him. "Are you done with your list?" she asks.

"I'm done with washing the windows," he says while pointing his eyes towards the squeaky clean windows.

"Well, then you can start cleaning the dishes from my office," Jeongmin says while walking back to the cash register.

Jungkook follows her with his gaze. She's annoying, that's a fact he just discovered, but he does believe she can be nice. She was nice to him when he met her for the first time. She just doesn't have her day today.

"Why don't you come and help me with that?" he asks when their eyes lock once she's seated.
