There was crying. That's all you could hear. A father was holding his daughter close to him. The daughter was covered in multiple cuts that were bleeding, but they were healing quickly. "Rin are you feeling better?" Said the father, his eyes still showing concern.

A girl named Rin Kuran was abused since age three by her mother, "Brother", and twin sister. Kaname hated her for some reason unknown to her, same for her twin sister, Yuuki. She was the younger twin, that's why her mother hated her. Haruka Kuran, her father, was the only one that truly loved her. Her father was kind to her and was always there, it seemed, when she needed him. The perfect father figure. When the night of death came, Haruka gave Rin a special weapon that could only be used by a Kuran. The best part was that once she touched it, it could only be touched by her and used by her alone.
