*JACKS POV*
I said my goodbyes and bid them fair well and set off on my journey. I was to meet Zalgo at noon in the Devils Forest. It was only 9:46 as my watch said so I burned some time and had a wonder. Careful not to draw attention to myself I walked with my hood up and tried to stay as far from people as possible. I wander around a bit until I looked at my watch. Shit! It's 11:50! I started running. I got to Devils Forest just in time and there he was. Sat there was Zalgo the Destroyer of All. As I slowly and cautiously approached him, he stood up and greeted me. "Hello Jack, what is it that you need." He said with a stern but calming tone to his voice.
"I need you to tell me more about the book."
"This book, when used correctly, can lead you to a person or object in your quest. All you need to do is tell your quest and it will find the object or person that will help you." I told the book my quest. "I need to find LJ." The front glowed red and a blue arrow appeared on it. "Follow this arrow and you will find what is needed." I thanked Zalgo for his help and departed. As followed this arrow for more than an hour when I reached a house and the arrow disappeared. "Well here goes." I knocked on the door and a girl no older than 13 answered. She had pale skin and thick black hair down to her back. I asked to come in. As she carefully lead me in I introduced my self. "My name is Jack and I need to tell you something but first; your name."
"My name is Rose and why are you here?"
"I know this is a lot by please trust me in this one ok? I was murdered. My friend managed I bring me back and I'm off to solve my murder. He is called LJ. This book lead me to the person that will help me. You. and I need your help."
"I've seen and heard some crazy shit, but you have set a record. I'm willing to help you but on a condition. I want payment. £10,000."
"Sure I can pay that. Follow me."
We left Roses home and went into town. I went to the manor one last time to collect her payment. I gave
it to her and we wandered off into city to begin the solving of my murder. We are coming for you LJ. And we WILL find you.
