I got home and sat on my bed thinking about what had just happened. In the moment I thought it was the obvious choice to get out of there, but now when I really think about it, it was wrong. I cant even imagine what Jerome is feeling right now.

I opened my phone to Instagram to DM him:

"Hey. Look, I feel really bad about what just happened. If you want to swing by and talk this over you can. I know you probably don't even want to look at me right now."

He left me on read.

I was getting tired but it was only 9:40pm so I decided to read the book I got from the library until I fell asleep. I left off on Chapter 8, page 4.

TIMESKIP(1 day)

I woke up and glared at my alarm clock.
"9:00"am
Oh shit! I'm late. I rushed out of bed and rummaged through my clothes to find a decent outfit, quickly did my makeup. I ran down the stairs snatched a waffle and was out the door.

I walked to school as usual in the beautiful sunny weather. I arrived at school and sat down in my history class. AKA the most boring class ever. I could tell Jerome was looking at me I feel sorry for him, Even though I know I was in the wrong. I needed to talk to him but I don't know if he wants to talk to me after he left me on read.

Darren and Colby came and sat down at the table with me. Apparently Jerome told them to talk to me for him.

"Jerome feels really bad for making you react like that the other night"
"It's fine".

I got up and walked over to Jerome to talk to him myself.

"Hey"
"Hey"
"Look let's just forget last night and continue our friendship"
"Yeah that's what I was hoping for"

Well that was way easier than I thought. History class was over so I skipped PE and went to the library to use the computers there to research about the book I took out a couple days ago.

No results. Weird. I got thinking and wrote out 3 whole pages about this book. It's a strange book. It has false info? And it's never been taken out, I don't even think I've seen it in the library before.

I asked the librarian about it and she said that she's never seen it before. Odd.

Did someone place it there for no reason? Did someone leave it there?  Who knows. But I know I want to solve this case of the book thats never been seen.
