Various players from around Japan were crowded at Blue Lock, waiting for what's to happen.

Reo: "Hey, this is taking so long..."

Toge kept silent, piggybacking Nagi.

Nagi: "Soccer is such a pain."

"Ahem, ahem, ahem. Test, test, hello fellow soccer players!"

A tall man who looks like he's in his 20s yelled into the mic. He had glasses and a...A bowl cut.

Nagi: "This is so boring, I wanna sleep."

Toge: *nod*

Ego: "I am Jinpachi Ego. My goal is to make the best striker here in Japan, to form a team and win the World Cup. You are all here, all 300 of you, to beat the other 299. All 300 of you."

*Snore....*

Toge and Nagi were already asleep, with Toge somehow still standing up and keeping his brother safe.

Reo laughs and watches them to make sure nothing severe happens.

Nagi's POV

I woke up and found myself in the middle of a pitch black stadium-like place.

Oh, right. We're here. I wish I could just fly back home with some sort of magical wings that'll make me invulnerable to anything, this is such a hassle.

I sighed, patting Y/n's back to wake him up.

Me: "Y/n. Where's Reo?"

Without a reply, he shrugs. He hasn't been talking much lately, his laziness can actually surpass mine.

Me: *Yawn.* "Anyway, let's head to the light."

"Special announcement to Nagi Seishiro and Toge Seishiro! Toge, you'll be in Team Z. In other words, room 299. Please head to your destination without Nagi, you may not be in the same team. Well! That's it. Ego-Jinpachi out."

The speakers were loud and clear, making me click my tongue slightly.

Me: "Ehhh, at least let him bring me to my room..."

"No can do! Say your farewells, Toge!"

Toge: "...Mayo."

I hopped off of his back and watched him walk away.

Me: "Eeeehhh, what a pain."

Toge reached room 299 and was about to knock but the door automatically opened.

Without hesitation, Toge walks in and immediately dashes toward the corners, and began napping.

???: "Another one!?"

???2: "Why is everyone so sleepy nowadays..."

???3: "Dunno. Leave them be. They both prolly aren't taking their careers seriously."

Suddenly, a loud voice was heard. A strong and bright lighting followed, with the other lights turning off.

Ego: "Hello, unpolished gems. I'm guessing you've all already finished changing?I'd like to let you all know that there are 13 people here. You know what that means right?"

???4: "No-"

Ego: "Yes, that's right. This is elimination. The worst one here will get eliminated in a game of pass. There will be a 3 minute countdown, and the one with the ball 'till the end will have their careers out."
