Chapter 1/9: Harsh

Leafy's POV

Some people weren't happy, some were but I can say for sure that I was happy that Firey won this competition, I'm somewhat disappointed that I didn't win, but as long as one of my friends win, then it's fine! Firey seemed happy as well, after a couple of minutes, we were introduced to Dream Island and it looked amazing, there seemed to be all types of things to do in there, I watched as he let objects in, even meaner ones, when it came to my turn he stopped me and said.

Firey: "Well, Leafy, I don't think I can let you in."

Leafy: What? But you let everybody else in, even Coiny!

Firey: Leafy, when you rode my ferris wheel, you said that you wanted to get off of it and That really hurt me, deep down inside.

Leafy: Wait huh? You better be joking, Firey!

Firey: Leafy, you don't understand. That ferris wheel, I made it for myself, but more importantly I made it for you and you just rejected it.

Leafy: Wha- Firey, I don't believe this!

Firey: Leafy, I'm sorry, but now I see the truth. You are a mean person, and I do not believe you deserve to be on Dream Island.

I watched as he closed the gate right in front of me, I was completely lost in thought, but I knew one thing, that I was angry, how could he!? Or... was it my fault? He seemed genuinely upset about my comment towards his ferris wheel, but I hope he understands why I said what I said... in a matter of seconds, the huge amount of anger I felt turned into sadness and jealousy, I felt like crying, I turned and ran into the forest and never looked back...

After a couple of minutes of just nonstop running, I finally stopped by a river, as I looked around at my surroundings, I found out I was completely. "Seriously...?" I thought to myself, I decided to take a break by a stump that seemed to be there for a while and started resting, as I rested I wondered what was happening at dream island, were they having fun? What it as cool as the announcer said it was? Does... does anyone even care about me not being there? I wonder... was there something I could've done to have prevented all of this?

???: Wait seriously Firey? What do you mean you didn't let her in

Firey: Uhh... oh my gosh hey look a UFO!

Pencil: Stop- now tell me where-

Suddenly a ufo appears and abducts a few contestants

Pencil: Wha- whatever, now tell me, why didn't you let Leafy on!? Weren't you like friends?

Firey: She... she did something I didn't like

Pencil: But, y'know it was only one thing, why didn't you just make up?

Firey: She should've said sorry, besides it was her fault

Pencil: ...you know what, if you aren't going to do it, I'm going to help you, she's right outside right why don't we go do it right now?

Firey: Wait wh-

Pencil goes to the gate and opens it and looks around before coming back in

Pencil: She's gone...

Firey: Really? (I didn't think she would leave that quickly...)

Pencil: Well there is another way... Hey guys! Who wants to help find Leafy

Coiny: Sure, seems like fun

Firey: What? No! You're just going to rip on me the entire time

Coiny: Whaaat? I would never- he said sarcastically

Pin: I'll join too

Golf Ball: I guess I'll go and help, but only because there's nothing to do right now

Pencil: Great, that settles it, us 5 will go and try to find Leafy

Firey: Are you sure this is a good idea

Pencil: As much as I don't care about you, I feel like this isn't fair, especially since you're friends and that fact that she literally got second place

Firey: Well I mean I suppose so

Pencil: Great! Now let's get going

Hey, it's been over 2 years since I created this book (Dec 7, 2020) and for the 2 year anniversary of this book, I announced a remaster (Dec 7, 2022) while I did plan on working on it, to be honest, I didn't start working on it until the start of this month, this will probably be one of the only author notes in this story, and I'm sorry if you don't like how there are only 9 chapters, I don't watch BFDI anymore so I don't have much to say and I'm going from memory
