"Christinaaaa!!!!" I heard my mom yell my name from downstairs. "Wake up you're late for school!"
Unwillingly I crawled out of bed and began looking through all of my clothes, I had just went shopping this weekend with Lydia, how did I not have anything to wear?
Finally I found an outfit, I decided on a red tank top with a black jacket that was hip-length to cover my shoulders, skinny jeans and black heel boots.
I quickly did my make up, and hair before grabbing my bag throwing it around my shoulder and scurrying down stairs.
"Mom I'm ready!" I shouted as she grabbed the keys and pulled my arm dragging me out of the house.
I quickly grabbed an apple and took a bite before walking out the door.
"Really Christina?" My mom said climbing in the car, "it's already the third time you wake up late for school."
"To be fair you didn't wake me up." I shrugged enjoying my apple. I've never tasted an apple this good.
"That's because you're a 15 year old freshman, I'm pretty sure you can wake yourself up in the morning." She stated practically speeding down the road.
"I could, but I choose not to." I laughed to myself finishing off my apple and throwing it out the window.
"Chris you can't keep this up, it's a new school year were barely September and you've already been late two now three days in a row."
Finally we drove up to the school, I didn't see what the problem was, it's not like I could get thrown out of school because I keep coming late. Could I? Oh well.
"Gotta go mom," I reached over and planted a kiss on her cheek, "love you." I got out of the car.
"I love you too but I'm serious." I shut the door and walked into the school. I didn't bother going to my locker, I was just glad I missed boring first period. Math.
Who gives someone math as their first period? Don't they know that's the most boring subject ever and students tend to sleep during first period?
Thing is, I already was passing math with a 99 even though I slept in there 24/7 but I didn't mind the grade. Made me look smart.
I walked into my second period and dropped my bag beside me before sitting on top of my desk waiting for Liddie to come in and lecture me just like my mom had.
As if on cue Liddie ran into the room and threw her bag by her desk which was next to mine, before jumping over the desk to face me.
"Where were you this morning?" She huffed, "late again? Chrissy that's the third time this year, and we're September." I smirked.
"You sound exactly like my mom."
"That's rude," she laughed and sat on top of her desk too. "whatcha doing this weekend?"
"Mm don't know yet why?"
"Well there's a party this weekend my place-" I cut her off with a wave,
"What about your parents, they'd never let you throw a party."
"Ah, they're going out of town this weekend 'for the first time in forever'" she sang the last part just like the song from Frozen and I laughed.
Unfortunately the bell rang for class to begin and Mrs. Garza walked in the classroom.
"Ms. Taylor and Ms. Rodriguez off the desks please." We shrugged and did as told and sat right in our desks.
"Okay class," Mrs. Garza clasped her hands together, "we have a transfer student here today from Venice, Florida. He is a long way from his home considering this is Corpus Christi, Texas so I suggest we welcome Mr. Brandon Rivera." Mrs. Garza did jazz hands towards a boy
