Forbidden fruit

Chapter 2

I froze. I was starring at the man I kissed last night. The man I met in a bar. And now I'm seeing him in church. Not as a visitor but as a priest?! How was this possible? He's a priest? But we kissed. He drank whiskey and he was flirting with me. He was making me wet! So many questions swirled around in my head.

I was in chock and I froze in my seat. I was sitting completely still during the mass not wanting him to see me. When the mass was over I panicked and took Jess arm and dragged her outside.

"What's going on Alex it looks like you've seen a ghost?" Jess said worryingly.

"You're not going to believe what I'm about to tell you" my voice was shaking while I walked back and forth.

"What's happening tell me Alex you're worrying me!

"That priest!" I stuttered.

"What about him? Wait I know what you're thinking! He's so hot!" Jess laughed.

"I kissed him last night." I whispered.

"What?" Jess eyes widened and I could see she was shocked. "Wait how is that possible he's a priest?"

"Well I don't know!" I groaned. I met him in the bar last night and he offered to walk me home. And we kissed."

I felt confused, sad, angry and so many other emotions were going thru my body.

"What the hell! But he's a priest! He's not allowed to drink or even be intimate with a women. And why was he at a bar?" Jess frowned. Suddenly Jess started to giggle.

"What's so funny?" I complained.

"I'm sorry it's just a fucked up situation." Jess gave me a hug.
"But was he a good kisser though?" Jess laughed looking curiously at me.

"Oh my god yes!" I sighed. "That's the worst part. He was such a good kisser. I couldn't stop thinking about him all night. He made me feel something."

I felt so disappointed. I was feeling betrayed. Why did he do this? A priest by day and a lady seducer by night? What was his deal?

"Go inside and talk to him. Ask the idiot what his problem is." Jess said.

"No way! I'm so embarrassed by this! I was seduced by a priest!"
I couldn't even believe it when I said it out loud.

"You need to question him Alex! Otherwise you'll never find out." Jess said trying to cheer for me a bit.

Suddenly we turned our heads hearing Jess mom walking towards us.
"Girls why are you in such hurry? Go inside for your confessions. That will do good for both of you." Jess mom came and stood between us and put her arms around our shoulders and lead us back inside the church. Both me and Jess rolled our eyes.
