Chapter 11

Ty was down in the hospital cafeteria when he saw Marion enter to grab a coffee before she went upstairs to see Amy. He'd been thinking about what to do. He called Marion over and explained his dilemma. He told her what decision he'd made. Before Marion went upstairs to see Amy, she gave Ty the Journal.
Marion waited outside Amy's room while Ty went in to speak with her and explain why it was best for now that they split up until he could find out who is responsible. Amy would also be a lot safer. Ty made sure to tell her he loved her more than she would ever know, and he would be back to marry her.
After he left, Marion went straight in to give Amy moral support. They both knew it was the only way to keep her safe, and she would have an unseen Bodyguard looking out for her.

Ty was on the jet going to see his mother, who was still unconscious. He was reading through the journal again when it suddenly struck him. He needed to check whose handwriting the book was in, whether it was his father's or someone else's.
Amy eventually calmed down, Marion was there for her. She knew Ty was doing this not just because Amy is her daughter but also because he loves her and doesn't want her in the line of fire.
Hour's later, Ty was sat by his mum's bed, and they had a security guard outside the room.
While Ty was sitting there, he was on the phone to someone who had been recommended to him. They were a private company that were a cross between the military and the FBI, Ty needed help, but he also needed people with firepower as whoever they were they were very dangerous.
Eventually, Ty realised that he couldn't just sit by his mother's bed. He had a job to do so kissed her on her cheek, and left for his parents' house.
Ty relaxed, knowing that Amy and his mother were in good hands.
The first thing he did when he got to the house was to search for a copy of their own handwriting. After a couple of hours, he had finally found two good copies of his father's and Mother's writing, neither of which matched the writing in the journal.
The group he had hired had better luck in Shanghai at his father's apartment and had found some fingerprints. They were so good they even had identities for the ones they'd found.

Ty was about to land at Shanghai Airport, where part of the team was waiting for him. He walked down the five steps from his private jet and walked across the hot tarmac. He got into his limousine, where the leader of this group was waiting for him with some information . Major Raymond Johnson explained that the group responsible for all the attacks was a Triad gang, and the leader was called Leung Wai.
However, the truth he would eventually find out about Leung Wai was going to shatter everything Ty thought about who his father was.

TWO MONTHS LATER

Amy was at home, but she wasn't in a good place. She missed Ty terribly even though they spoke every day. Her pregnancy was progressing, and she was now four months gone and starting to show.
Amy had had a big show down with Tim outside Maggie's after he'd seen her baby bump. He started slagging Ty off for walking away from her even though Ty hadn't done such a thing. Amy tried to explain what was going on, but as usual, Tim wouldn't listen to what she had to say, so she walked away.
Tim went straight to see Marion, and another argument ensued. She also tried to explain what was happening, and it was the same response from Tim. That night, Amy poured her heart out to Ty, so he suggested she go and stay with Lilly, and they could help to keep each others spirits up a great idea and started packing up her suitcase. She booked her ticket and ordered a taxi for first thing in the morning.
Lilly was staying at the main family home in Toronto. She'd woken up after 6 days in her coma. Lilly, as usual, was more interested in how Amy was and her future Grandchild than herself.

Ty and his team finally discovered that the five pages in his father's journal were not the writings of his father or his mother. Ty now knew whoever it was had been playing with them.
The following day, Ty phoned Lilly to see how her and Amy were getting along, but lilly said she didn't turn up, and this concerned him.
Ty phoned Marion, who had assumed that Amy had gone to see Lilly.
The three women, Lyndy, Marion, and Lou, went to check out Amy's house, when they walked in they noticed a smell but also noticed things looked like there'd been a fight or tousle.
There was also her suitcase left behind.
Marion found a rag on the floor and picked it up, smelling it. She knew exactly what it was and put it back.
Lou was already on the phone to the RCMP, telling them that from what they had found, they suspected her sister had been kidnapped.

Ty and the team had finally located Leung Wai and were now on their way to find out not just who he was but also why he was attacking his family and Fiancee.
Ty's phone rang, and he saw it was Marion.
"Hi Ty, we haven't found Amy, but from what we saw and found, it looks like she was kidnapped."
"What about the security team? At least one of them should have been watching her Marion."
"The RCMP found him drugged and tied up in the barn."
"Damn it, we're almost where this Leung Wai lives, so I will ask why he took Amy, I'll get back to you, Marion."

The two SUV's pulled up at the large mansion, there was only two security guards at the front doors, and it looked as if they were expected.

Ty and two men got out of the SUV, and the other four got out of the 2nd SUV and positioned themselves in a military style protection detail.
Ty walked in, and the three of them were taken to see Leung Wai.
They were introduced to each other , and Leung said something that shocked not just Ty but his protectors too.
"Well, finally, we meet young BROTHER."
