We boarded the bus and rode it to the very last stop.
After we got off of the bus the first thing we did was buy a hotel with the stolen money.
When we woke we walked along the board walk to find something to eat, when i spotted an ice cream shop with a sign that read
"HIRING"
Perfect i thought to myself.
" Hi how may i help you"
I looked up to see a girl about the same age as me, with long girly brown hair.
"Yes, i saw the hiring sign on the window"
"Oh.. really?"
"Yup..."
"Well great, if your not busy we can start right now"
"Right now?
"Right now, if thats okay with you"
"No , no its great. Just unexpected"
The girl locked the front door of the shop and Hope sat down in bean bag chair next to the register. We walked to the back of the store and she handed me a pen and paper.
"Fill this out as thoroughly as possible. "
I gave it one quick look, and something just didnt seem right.
"Why do you need to know my living conditions?" i asked
" Just to know more about you" she responded.
These questions were offly weird.
" im done" i say and she quickly reviews the paper.
" You didnt check an answer for living conditions"she said
" Id rather not'
"It's simple Faith"
" I told you id rather not say" i told her once again, this time my voice was slight raised
" i see" she tells me "well in order to get the job , you have to have a parent sign the application."
" but i cant"
"and why is that Faith"
" i cant"
" fine, please do not be expecting a call from me" she said
"please i really need the job" i said practically begging.
" i cant, i cant because.. because we ran away" i says as she walked away
"your hired" she said turning around again
"no, please let me explain my parents were very a-"
"Faith , i said your hired"
" what.. im , im hired" i said jumping up and down.
" btw my name is Amaya.So come and meet your new family" she told me, with a big smile on her face
she opens a door to a small room. There were 5 confused faces staring back at me.
"this is jerome, diana,Roman,Veronica and David"
The one who caught my eyes was David. He had black hair, and the bluest eyes id ever seen.
And when he turned around they looked right into my hazel eyes, and since the first time in 7 years, I felt warm.
