Chapter one: Explorer’s

"Tell me again Pat what does the government want us to do? My mind today has gone blank as a fish" Asked Merry.

"Ohhhh he wants us to go deep in the 'BlackOutCave', we are meant to be trying to discover new life form or how people used to live. Have you ever been told the myth of the cave?" Pat answered.

"No I haven’t, tell me what is the so called "Myth"?. Merry was interested but worried at the same time myths wasn’t her thing.

"Well first I need to say to you people haven’t gone far inside the cave, their have been strange noises and sounds. People have said they seen shadows and it has been proven that one explore had disappeared in the NIGHT! This happed 1 year ago, in fact I new the young man who dispersed. The myth in mind is.................................No matter how smart you may be or fit their is no chance you will live any further then the first 2 and a half miles under the surface, their are creepy monsters waiting for you to come to them, waiting to eat alive waiting to skin and peel the blood pumping skin right off your soft smooth skin, just waiting to eat you one by one hoping to scare you hoping to shred you to pieces just sitting there in the shadows waiting watching smelling and hearing your every single step closer and closer till no one can hear your glass braking scream of help.

"But I don’t believe in things like that" Pat answered in a stone cold voice.

"This is worrying me just a little, I only been here 3 weeks and already I’m going to explore a cave with no ending, were is this cave then?"

"Well the cave is saturated in North America, we will be getting there by plane then when we're by the opening of the cave we will clime down a ladder witch is 60 feet down, then by foot we will start to map the cave out and explore and hopefully complete are mission." Pat said making it sound easy.

"Pat have you ever been in the cave?" Merry asked.

"No I haven’t but by far this will be the best cave I will have ever explored, I’m existed I love the fear the not knowing, this is why im doing this job Merry."

"I guess, how many caves have you been inside and explored?" Merry asked interest.

"Merry I’m 35 now I have been working under cover for years, I have been in so many caves and been under the sea, pretty much every where you could think of doing different things each time. its amazing!!! But you should know I cant tell you or anyone on my past on this job its a secret, you do know you cant tell anyone about what you do? Don’t you?" Pat said worriedly.

"Yeah of course I do". Merry replied.

"Because Merry if you do tell anyone no matter who, mum, dad, friends I will have to report this o the government and you and your family will be executed, this is no joke Merry people have said something’s about missions and it does spread even if who ever you have told prominences not to tell people can NOT keep a secret that is big. I have a story about someone who said to her mother about a discovery that would blow your mind! It was so big my friend said to her mum a particular part of what we had found under the sea bed I cant say anymore on the matter, but lets just say not just her and her mum that go killed but her farther and friends it was unliveable what could happen if you say something by accident. But I hope you don’t do the same as her, I really hope for you." Pat said with a tear in her eye.

"I really don’t think I will say anything after that story, I feel so sorry for you. How many............... well................. you know people...............................?" Merry asked trying to be strong.

"In my time here I have lost 25 people I known and loved, but if you cant keep secrets or anything I would advise you to leave now before you really screw up." Pat said straight into my eye.

"Don’t worry you wont lose me, I promise."

"Well I'll I will believe it when I see it, so many have said that and they got killed. I have given up on people who say that, cos there always the first to go." Pat said frustrated tone.
