Chapter Five - The Plan

Tinie POV

It was after school on Thursday but the second week of school so it's been like nine days. I was outside waiting for my mom to pick me up when Leigha came over to me.

"Yo Leigha whats up, don't you have cheer practice?"

Leigha nodded. "I do but I want to talk to you first."

"Ok, what's popping?"

Leigha laughed. "Uh, you're kind of friends with everyone in the class right?"

That was true. I knew that Leigha, Brooklynn and Bella were sort of a group (the cool girls) and Kiya, Dallas, and Kinley were also a group (the nerdy/smart girls) and they didn't talk to each other, but both groups were really nice, so I liked to be friends with both of them.

"Yeah why?"

Leigha sighed. "I don't like that we have different groups, I wish that we were all friends, but Bella and Brooklynn said that they don't know if the others would be interested in the same things, so maybe they dont want to be friends."

I nodded. "Huh okay I guess that makes sense, I think that everyone could get along though. You guys are all sort of similar anyway."

"Really? How?"

I shrugged. "Well you and Kiya both have bright colored hair, Bella and Dallas both can speak Spanish, I know Brooklynn really likes music...actually I think we all like music because I know that Kiya's in the band and I've heard Kinley and Dallas talk about music too, so that's definitely something we all have in common...I don't know, I think we could all vibe."

Leigha nodded. "Yeah I guess you're right, I do actually want to be friends but I have no idea how we would get everyone to start talking, I was hoping you would have an idea."

I thought about it for a minute and then suddenly, the most perfect plan came into my head.

"Leigha I just had a great idea."

Leigha raised her eyebrow at me.

I leaned over and she moved closer and I whispered my plan into her ear.

"Tinie that's genius!"

I grinned. "I know right? But I need your help to get it started."

We talked for another few minutes and figured out our plan, we would do it tomorrow.

Leigha said goodbye and I sat back and though about how exactly we would pull this off. But I felt good about it.
