Aya and Saki Nanami, the forgotten sisters of the Nanami family.
Despite the first and last name being Japanese, it's surprisingly not their real names.
Aya's original name used to be Soledad Ruíz while Saki's used to be Alondra Ruíz
Why are their names in spanish? To put it into context, the three sisters were actually born in Culiacán, Sinaloa, México. It's crazy to think Chiaki Nanami is from Mexico but it is what it is.
Unfortunately for the forgotten sisters, Saki was killed in a hit and run while crossing a road at the age of 16 Aya was drafted to go to Hopes Peak Academy. Scouted as the ultimate saxophonist of course, dominating the jazz genre overall. She would meet up with her sister Chiaki, or known as her original name 'Casandra'.
Why were their original birth names wiped from the face of the earth? In simple terms, it's a way to escape from the people hunting them down.
