You finished another boring school day, when you overhear that there is a new murder drone squad meant to try and invade the colony. You were concerned about this news, as your parents had died due to them years back. Nevermind that, you had some death to dance with tonight. After managing to sneak away with your own laser pistol, you had approached the landing pod, only to see the disassembly drones moving their stuff. A taller one, in a cyan tophat and suit, noticed you, and charged at you, with that familiar X shape on their eyes. You managed to get a solid few laser pistol shots off, when the other two joined into the fray. You managed to keep the squad at bay with your pistol, then the worst thing that could possibly happened, happened. You ran out of ammo. You lay down on the ground, waiting for your inevitable fate, when the eyes on the disassembly drones turns to normal. "Ah, we're just messing with ya! We haven't gotten any workers approach us yet, so we made a deal to scare the life out of the first worker to actually approach us." The one with the tophat spoke, presumably the leader. "I'm Serial Designation P, and these are my murderous psychopathic colleagues, K and L. The two murderous ones loomed above you, staring directly into your soul, while P still had a friendly smile. He offered his hand to you, and followed with a simple question. "What's your name?" "Y/N." "Well, pleasure to meet ya! Mind helping us make sure our stuff is ready?" You complied, mostly out of fear, and P motioned for you to follow him. You felt the stare of K and L burning into you, which definitely creeped you out. "So, did you make that pistol yourself?" P asked, breaking the silence. "Yeah, I did. I've been inventing stuff ever since the incident." "What incident?" P asked curiously. "Disassembly Drones killed my parents." "Oh.. sorry to hear that, Y/N." You nodded, signaling that you were fine.
After a few hours, the disassembly drones had made sure their stuff was in the right placements. "Thanks for the help, Y/N! You can go ahead and go to the colony if you want, and you're always welcome in our landing pod, alright?" You nodded in understanding. As you approached your colony, you could only think "What a wacky squad of drones."
