It all stared when we had the same math class together. She was sitting alone, and I didn't have anyone to sit with. So I sat with her. "Hey, anyone sitting here?" I asked. She nodded her head and I took a seat. "I'm Michelle," I held out my hand. "The name's Ashley," She said. She seemed pretty cool, even though I didn't know her all that well. The math teacher introduced herself, and I said, " She needs to take some advil, I think she has a headache". Ashley laughed. "I was thinking the same thing,"She said back.

I wasn't for a few months until I was told she was a lost step sister. Her mom and my dad had her, divorced, each got remarried then had me. Small world . "I've never had a sister," Ashley told me. I didn't have a sister either. "This is so rad!" I exclaimed. We were best friends for a year , until she spazed on me. "You KNOW I like Jose, so why would you flirt with him?!" She yelled, waving her hands in the air. "He flirted with me, I tried to tell him that my friend like him, but he wouldn't listen." I stated confidently, convinced she would believe me. " You lying son of a bitch, you're just like everyone else here." Ashley got up and stormed out the cafeteria. I watched her go. Deep down, I was glad she was gone. What is wrong with her? I wondered. Gladdis, another good friend of mine came and sat with me.
"What now? Is she mad because the lunch lady didn't give her enough lettuce?" Gladdis teased. I laughed, beginning to feel comfortable with Ashley gone.
