Risa's POV
Risa is still shocked because of what happened in Leni's office a while ago, many things are going through her mind right now, but she is thankful that she now has a job. She is now on her way to the hospital to visit Pia.
(at the Hospital)
She entered her sister's room and saw that Pia was sleeping with their mother.
She slowly closed the door, and slowly walked towards Pia. She kissed her on the forehead and said, "Laban lang ha, may trabaho na si ate." she said while holding Pia's hand.
Suddenly her mother woke up and said, "Oh nandyan kana pala, kamusta yung interview mo?"
"Okay naman po ma, natanggap po ako." she said while smiling.
This made his mother smile too, "Mabuti naman kung ganon, iwan ko muna kayong magkapatid ha. Labas muna ako saglit." her mother said as she stood up.
"Ay sya nga pala ma, eto na po yung pambili ng mga gamot ni Pia." she said while taking the money from her bag.
"Salamat anak ha, pasensya kana din." her mother said.
"Ano ka ba naman ma, okay nga lang po yon. Basta para sainyo ni Pia." she said while holding her mother's hand.
Her mother smiled and hugged her tightly, then after that her mother went out to buy Pia's medicines.
Risa is currently peeling apples when Pia suddenly said, "Ate, siguro kung hindi ako nagkasakit matutuloy mo yung pangarap mong mag Doctor." Pia said.
"Ano namang kinalaman ng sakit mo sa pag do-doctor ko?" she asked.
"Eh syempre, ang mahal kaya ng mga gamot ko. Sana ginamit mo nalang yun pang tuition."
Risa sat on the edge of her sister's bed and said, "Ano ka ba Pia, okay lang kung hindi ko matupad yung mga pangarap ko. Ang importante okay kayo ni mama." Risa is always like that, selfless. Lagi nyang inuuna ang ibang tao bago ang sarili nya.
Pia held her sister's hand, then she burst into tears. Risa also cried and hugged her sister tightly.
Leni's POV
Today is Risa's first day as her assistant, she went to his office early and Risa also arrived after a few minutes.
Risa is now standing in front of Leni's table, "Good morning po, Atty." she said politely. "Good morning too, here are the things you need to do. Nandyan na rin yung schedule ko for the week, please remind me na may meeting ako mamayang 11:00 pm sa mall and I want you to come with me." Leni answered her.
Risa looked shocked by what she said, "Kailangan po ba na kasama pa ako?" Risa asked her. Leni raised her eyebrow and said, "As my assistant, yes, kailangan mong sumama. May problema ba don?" she asked.
"Ah, okay po." Risa answered her shortly. "You may go now, tawagin nalang kita kapag may kailangan pa ko." Leni said. "Okay po." she said while leaving the office.
'Na-miss kita mahal' that's exactly what Leni wanted to say, pero hindi nya pa kaya. She needs time, gusto rin muna nyang malaman kung bakit bigla syang iniwan ni Risa noon.
Risa's POV
This is not the Leni that I know, this is not the way she used to talk to me. 'Ang cold' she thought. "Iniwan mo ba naman bigla eh, malamang magagalit yung tao." she said to herself.
She decided to make a cup of coffee for Leni, she still knows what blend Leni exactly wants.
She nervously knocked on the door. She slowly opened the door and said, "Hi attorney, kape po muna kayo." she said while placing the coffee on Leni's table.
Leni looked at her, "Thank you, but I've already had my coffee earlier." Leni said. This makes Risa sad, hindi sya tinatanggihan ni Leni noon, but she understands. 'Hindi na kami tulad ng dati, iba na ngayon' Risa thought.
Seeing Risa's face like this, Leni knows she can't stand it. "Pero wala namang batas na bawal magkape ng dalawang beses diba?" Leni said.
