Mysterious Airplane Break-In

Chapter 12

"Oh gosh! They took Sam!" said Robin.

"I'm sorry, Robin" said Peter.

"Oh, Sam! My poor, gorgeous Sam! Why does it have to be ladies first?! Why?!" Robin sobbed.

"Well, Boy Wonder, if you love her so, the only thing to do now is get her back" said Gordon.

"It's not the only thing for him to do, Gordon! He has to defeat Corleone and wake Miss Augustus here" said Peter.

"Waking this beauteous lady is our job, Peter. Robin can go on and rescue the girl" said Gordon.

"Oh yes... Robin, go on" said Peter.

So Robin ran off, letting his fear get the better of him.

But then he passed the woman that Kray blamed for killing Marvin.

"You! Stop in the name of the law!" said Robin.

"What? What did I do?" said the lady.

"Identify yourself!" said Robin.

"Me? I'm Genevieve Barker" said the lady.

"Miss Barker. I'm Robin, the Boy Wonder and as a duly deputized agent of the law, I place you under arrest for murder!" said Robin.

"Murder? What murder?" said Genevieve.

"Don't you be coy with me! You killed Marvin Dewitt!" said Robin.

"Dearie, I don't even know who he is" said Genevieve near tears.

"Are you sure?" said Robin.

"Yes. But I'm not surprised you'd think I was lying. I'm always misunderstood" said Genevieve.

"Then... I apologize, ma'am. Kray Corleone must have been lying to protect himself" said Robin.

"He sounds like a rotten egg psychopath to me" said Genevieve.

"He is a rotten egg psychopath. He brainwashed my girlfriend into joining whatever he's doing" said Robin.

"Oh, sweetheart... I understand if you're upset, but there's no use in arresting a little old lady" said Genevieve.

"I know. I'm sorry" said Robin.

"You are forgiven, child. And as a forgiveness, I'd like to know if I can help" said Genevieve.

"As a matter of fact, ma'am, yes. Corleone knocked a flight attendant unconscious. Would you mind tending to her?" said Robin.

"Oh, certainly. Now go. Quickly. Before he gets anyone else" said Genevieve.
