chapter ten: prank on Preston

Hailey Pov 

me and chase came up with a prank to pull on my dad which was to have me act like I got hurt basically I'm going to fall in front of my dad and just act hurt I really hope I'm a good actor we had to wait a bit since dad is busy with stuff, but I was getting hungry and bored by the second "can we go get food?" I asked Chase he looks at me 

"Yeah, we can go and see if your dad is okay with it first before we go though " I nodded and went to go find dad after a while I found him with mom filming a video for mom channel, I smiled seeing them I ran hugging Preston making him jump a little as he looked down to see me 

"hi " I giggled out looking up at him he shakes his head playfully before speaking "I thought you were with Chase?" "I was he wanted to know if you're okay with him taking me to get food?" dad looks at mom who nods at him mom spoke up " I'm fine with but you need to be on your best behavior with him okay?" I nod " I will love you!" I said as I gave each of them a hug before running back to Chase 

Chase looks to see me running but to him "so what did they say?" I smiled and beamed "they said it fine, but I have to be good!" he nods and stands up " let's go then where do you want to go eat at?" I smiled big " can we get taco bell?" he nods, and we walk to get his keys and we go to the car " why yes we can " we head to taco bell and got the food I got four soft tacos, and a Doritos loco taco chase got his order and we both got a drink 

we head back to the office to eat it when Chase spoke up " you ready to set up the prank I'm going to get your mom in on this though so she can be a part of this, and I don't get in trouble "I nod and we go inside and found my mom we told her and she helped us set it up cameras and all that it was time for the prank I knocked something loud over making it sound like I had fell 

"Ow! dad help!" I screamed I heard him coming as I faked cried, he ran over checking me "what happened do you need to go to the hospital?" he rambled worried he pulls me in to him mom came running in Preston what did you do ?!" he freakes out "I herd her scream and came in here and she was on the floor she must of had the chair fall on her 

I tried to keep from laughing but I was really crying of how dad was really freaking out over me crying I gave it 30 secs and I started laughing Preston arms making him look down at me "are you okay did you hit your head?!" mom started laughing too I spoke up giggling "it was a prank !"dad looks at me and " I hope you know you just started a war " he said as he started tickling me making me burst out laughing 

"Bring it!" I replied in between laughing
