Story 3
Zero days:
"Today we left. I cried a lot. Aspen drove Millie, Lia, Cam and Noah to my house to say goodbye. Aimee threw a tantrum in the morning, so I took Luca to the park. I don't want him to have to hear that shit.
We got ice cream at Amanda's for the last time; I almost cried just thinking about it.My mom stayed up all night last night packing my brother's room. I think she put it off until last minute because she wanted it to stay just how he left it the day he drove away to buy more formula for Luca.
I heard her crying, but I didn't want to interrupt her, so I didn't go in.Dad was packing the moving truck all day. He's always been a little stoic, but I could tell he was sad.
When we drove away, I just thought about all the milestones I'd reached living in that house.
I'd lost my first tooth in this house, had my first kiss in this town, I'd gotten my first period at this school. I think I just thought all those things to make me cry more. When we got to the new house, I sat in the car for a few minutes. The new house is an ugly gray on the outside, it has black metal window frames and small bushes on either side of the heavy front door.
The inside isn't as bad. The kitchen is average, with functional appliances and a neutral counter top. The bathrooms look like they'd been redone recently, everything in them looked shiny and new, but if you looked closely, you could tell whoever did all the details like the silicone and stuff did a really shitty job.My room is just an empty room with white walls, a white doored built in closet, a window with gray curtains and a small shelf screwed to the wall opposite the window.
I can make it work, it's not that ugly I guess.Oh my god, diary, I almost forgot.
I saw my new neighbour today. I looked out the window and right into his. He's really hot. His room has led lights and vines, a poster from some show that he must like, and the letter 'A' pinned on the wall. There's a clear view from my window. Oh yeah, and he's really cute.My room is right between Luca and Aimee's rooms. Aimee started working on her room as soon as we got there, she didn't even help with the rest of the house.
After I started unpacking my room a bit, I ordered pizza for everyone.
We ate and unpacked more. I found new places for all of my plants. Our new wifi hasn't been installed yet, and the mobile internet is really slow, but I still managed to watch an episode of my favourite medical drama.
Tonight I'm sleeping on my mattress on the floor. It's kinda comfy to sleep so close to the floor.Anyway, it's been a really emotional day, and I'm fucking drained, so I'm going to sleep early.
Goodnight, yours always,
Viana.

The next morning Viana got up at 7:56am. She trudged out of her room in her pink donut pyjama shorts and an oversized graphic t-shirt, her hair was in frizzy braids with hair sticking out everywhere.
Suddenly they heard a knock on the door."VIANAAAA!" Her mother shouted, "CAN YOU GET THE DOOR?"
"Hi, I'm Lillian, your new neighbour." A friendly lady said when Viana opened the door, "these are my kids, Ari," she motioned to the hot boy Vi had seen through her window,
"Mia, and Ivy."Mia looked about fifteen. She forced a small smile and went back to whatever she had been doing on her phone.
Ivy was about nineteen, Viana guessed, she smiled a big, shy smile and said "Hi, I'm Ivy."
