YOU AND CHILDE finished escorting Teucer on the ship a moment ago. It was fun playing with that little kid and he was happy to received a kite from you; he even promised that he'll cherish it forever- even Childe bought his little brother a box to keep his kite whenever he don't uses it.

You glanced at Childe, "Now, where's my mora?" You asked.

He raised an eyebrow.

"You told me that I'll be rewarded." You crossed your arms.

Childe chuckles, "You thought that I'm going to pay you mora? My bad, I was thinking of something else." He said.

You tilted your head, "So the reward was not mora? Then what is it?" You asked.

"No, but anyway, if it's mora that you want, then mora it is. Let's go to the northland bank." Childe responded.

He was about to walk away when you grabbed his wrist.

"What do you mean by something else?" You asked.

"Do you really want to know?" Childe asked; his tone changed.

You just stare at him.

"I was supposed to ask you for a dinner." Childe responded.

So free food? Sounds nice. You thought.

"Well, can I choose both?" You asked in a playful way.

Childe was surprised but smiled either way.

"Alright then."

After having dinner at Xinyue kiosk, you and Childe ended up strolling around Mt. Tianheng.

It's a quiet walk next to him and all you can hear are both of your footsteps.

"Teucer told me something before he left." You said.

"About what?" Childe asked.

"That if you can quit your job, you'd love to go adventures with me." You responded.

"Oh so he told you that." Childe halted from his pace and you did the same thing.

"Is there a possibility that you'll quit?" You asked and look at him.

Childe was surprised with your question but after that, he thought about his work. He worked so hard for his title and still working up to get even stronger whenever there's a chance.

Besides, he's not a typical person that you should get involved with; just like what he told you before, he's a bad guy; a god like you shouldn't be around him.

Childe walks closer to you.

"You shouldn't trust me that much, Y/N. I'm a harbinger and if they ever find out that you're the omni god, I have no other choice but to get your gnosis." Childe said, "I know that your secret is safe with me, so be grateful that I'm still sparing you."

You hold onto his wrist, "Then if I give up my gnosis to Tsaritsa, would you want to run away with me?" You asked.

Childe was kinda taken aback but he keep his composure; it really surprised him.

"You sounded like you're indirectly confessing to me, Y/N, this is so not you." He chuckled, "But I do appreciate that you'd want to run away with me, I hope we can do that but unfortunately, no."

"You're right! I'm sorry... I should be going now." You said and let go of his wrist; your heart has been slightly shattered.

What was I even thinking?! I'm so annoying. You thought as you mentally slap yourself.

"Thanks for tonight, Childe. I really had fun." You pulled a small smile at him before walking away and Childe quietly watches you.
