Chapter 2, odd feelings

As Moon slowly sat up, Sun whined as he clinged onto Moon, "No..no no no no noo.." Sun cried, climbing ontop of moon to weigh him back into the bed, "Sunny, the kids will be here soon." Sun looked up at Moon, "M-Moon, it's Saturday-" Moon blinked then held Sun close as he put his head back, "Fuck, right." Sun perked his head up, "Stop cursing!" he whined, Moon chuckled, "Fuck." Sun sat up, sattling Moon's thighs, "Stop cursing!!" moon looked up at Sun, wiggling around with a groan. Sun blushed a bit then quickly got off Moon, "Just stop cursing!" Moon finally got Suns hand off his mouth, "dam- ugh okay!" Sun crossed his arms as he got up from the bed. He went to his closet with a grumble, Moon sat up, fixing his ruffles, "What you doing?" Moon asked, Sun grumbled more, "I am putting on comfy clothing, so we can cuddle better!" Moon smiled a bit as he got up, hovering over Sun's shoulder, "How about a hoodie and sweats?" Sun shook his head, "Too hot, you heat up a lot while charging, like a laptop-" He took out a tanktop with shorts. Moon blushed a bit, "Those shorts seem too short-" Moon mumbled, Sun turned to Moon as he backed up, "And you get hot!" Sun rolled his eyes as he went into his changing room. Moon sat on the bed but quickly got up when sun yelled, "Get in something less hot!" Moon quickly rushed off to his room and grabbed a black teeshirt with basketball shorts. He quickly just started stripping in his room. As Moon struggled to get out of his clothing, only his shirt off, Sun walked out of the changing room and turned to Moon's side. Sun's rays spun as he quickly looked away and went to his bed, throwing himself onto the bed. After a bit Moon came out, fixing his hat as he laid next to Sun. "You know, Sun, if we're gonna cuddle a lot maybe we should make a fort so we have more room." Moon said as Sun rested his head on Moon's chest, "No, I like being closer to you." Sun mumbled,

"Why though? you've been acting weird with this whole cuddle and touch thing." Moon said, petting Sun's head a bit. Sun thought for a moment then shrugged, "I just feel safe around you I guess." Sun whispered, "Safe?" Moon asked, looking down at Sun now. Sun rubbed Moon's side with his thumb as he nodded, "Yeah, 'cuz I can unfilter myself around you." Sun mumbled, moving his face more into Moons chest, making Moon whirr a bit. Moon nodded and rubbed Sun's head, "Makes sense. I feel a lot more safe with you too, sunny." Moon said with a hum, Sun looked up at Moon with a blush, "Really?" He asked, Moon nodded as he moved his hand to Sun's cheek, thumbbing it with his thumb, "Of course, with you I can truely relax. Its a funny feeling." Sun blushed as he leaned into Moon's hand, "An odd one?" Sun asked, "A very odd one..." Moon whispered as he put his head back.

As Moon woke up he realized Sun was not in the bed. For just a moment he felt an odd sickening feeling before he saw Sun bounce back into the room, "Sorry, I was making sure no one is coming in today!" Sun smiled and jumped onto Moon, Moon let out a grunt and held Sun close,"Ah okay, may I ask why?" Moon asked, Sun smiled, "Cuz I just wanted to!" Sun giggled, nuzzling his face closer to Moon's. Moon whirred and steamed as he made eye contact with Sun for a moment, Sun giggled with a smile. Moon quickly shoved Sun off of him, "W-We need to make sure the daycare is clean-" He said as he got up, Sun frowned, "But I already did?" Sun said, his rays retracting as Moon started walking out of the room, "Well i need to take a walk around to make sure everything's in place, you know me- hah-" Moon said quickly as he walked out. He closed the door to their rooms behind him and huffed. Whatever he was feeling was very odd, something he's never felt. As he walked he thought, mumbling out loud. "It can't be im uncomfortable, Im not.." He groaned as he got to the daycare area, rushing to pick up a ball and throw it into the ballpit, "And it can't be I don't like him, it's clear I do." He mumbled, kicking a few more balls into he pit. He stopped at the desk, looking at the screens. An animation of Sun waving with his iconic Sundrops was showing, along with Sun's voice telling people about the candies. Moon watched it for a moment, "He's just a close friend." he mumbled. The screens turned to a video of Sun running around with kids and laughing. Moon's face burned up a bit, "No way- noo- noo!" He quickly turned away from the tvs and grumbled, "I am not liking him like that- thats weird, we're robots." moon groaned, burning up more as he walked out the daycare. He'd go talk to a 'friend' about this, get an outside view.

"I-I don't know, Moon, sounds like a crush." Monty said, pucking a hole in one. He stood straight up and faced Moon who was now getting ready to hit his turn, "But it can't be, there's no way I dont wanna date anyone you know that." Moon huffed, hitting the ball way too hard, making it go off the corse. Monty placed a hand on Moon's shoulder, "You say that but how you were just talking about him, you literally said you want to take him out on lil' date, right bud?" Moon sighed, looking down, "Yeah..you're right." Monty laughed, placing the club down, so did moon, "Why not ask him out? See how you two like it, then see from there." Moon sighed, playing with his ruffles as he looked at Monty, "But if I do, and we don't like it, we're gonna be weird." Moon started pacing, "I feel nice around him, I like cuddling him and such, why would I risk loosing that? I'd be in the dark again." Monty blinked, fixing his hair, "But then again, you could further with him." Moon swung his head to look at monty as he started steaming, "Are you suggesting that-" Monty's laugh cut Moon off, "Just saying!" Moon growled, and looked away again, "That would be nice-" "Eyo-" Monty froze and looked at moon, "You? Doin that shit?" Moon put his hands up like he was being held at gun point, "Hey, hey, I am just saying that would be nice! He was rubbing my hip and let me rub his sides- i felt all heated up and stuff fro that simple touch." Moon said, hiding his smile with his hand, staring at the floor, "Horny fuck-" Monty chuckled, "You brought it up, jackass!" Moon yelled, looking to monty. Monty howled with laughter until they heard the door opening to Gater golf. Moon looked to the doors and saw Roxanne walking in, "Hey losers!" She yelled, walking over. Monty waved with a laugh, "Hey billie elilish!" Moon chuckled a bit at her new name, Roxanne rolled her eyes, "Termanator!" She laughed, Monty clapped, "Hell yeah I am!" He showed off his mussels, Moon and Roxanne laughed. Roxanne moved behind Moon and rubbed his shoulders, "What you up to being here?" She asked, Moon tensed up and shoved her hands off, "I was just talking to Monty about some stuff." Monty laughed, "He's got a crush!" Monty yelled, Moon looked to Monty, "Shut the fuck up, florda man!" Monty and Roxanne laughed more, "A crush?! Who on earth would someone like you love?!" Roxanne yelled, laughing more. Moon groaned loudly as Monty and Roxanne. As they fought, Sun watched from the doors, his rays retracted as he walked out. It was a bit clear he thought Moon didn't like him like he liked Moon. Sun walked back to the daycare and got into the ballpit, burying himself as a comfort.

As moon walked out of Gator gold, he started humming, smiling as he walked back to the daycare. They all had talked and Moon decided he'd wait a few days then ask Sun out. As Moon walked back into the daycare he looked around for Sun then looked at the ballpit, seeing Sun's rays peeping out, "Sunny?" Moon asked, sitting on the edge, his legs in the ballpit, "Why are you doing the thing?" Moon asked as he slowly got into the ballpit, 'swimmming' his way to Sun, "W-What thing?" Sun asked, sinking deeper into the ballpit to avoid Moon, "The sad ballpit thing- what's wrong?" Moon questioned as he slowly made it to sun, pulling him back up to face level. Sun was teary-eyed as he stared at Moon, "I-I don't wanna talk about it-" Sun whimpered, trying to sink back into the ballpit but Moon kept pulling him back up, "If you dont want to talk about it, how am I supposed to help?" Moon asked as he leaned onto the ballpit wall, sitting Sun in his lap facing him. Sun rested his head on Moon's shoulder, "I-I just don't wanna talk about it right now." Sun whispered, "Alright...That's just fine." Moon hummed, rubbing Sun's back. After a bit, Sun spoke up, "You like someone, don't you?" Sun asked shakily, Moon froze up but nodded, "Yes, Sunny, I like someone..."
