Chapter 1 🔆

You wake up and begin the day with some coffee, being 19 you gotta get your energy up.

You had recently been hired at a new place. Today was unfortunately but somewhat excitingly your first day! You had been hired as an assistant for a daycare. Unusual they had a daycare in a mall, but oh well. You got dressed in the uniform they gave you before you left the interview, and headed out the door. You pulled out your keys and started up the car and started to drive.

You arrived at "Freddy Fazbears Mega Pizzaplex." You thought it was a bit of a mix of cool and basic. Anywho you went inside and you met a lady at the front desk.
The lady: "Name?"
You: "Y/N"
The lady: "Ah. You're the new daycare assistant. Gotcha." She then pulled up a walkie talkie and spoke into it. "Ms Vanessa? The new daycare assistant is at the front desk." she set it back down. "Just wait here a moment. She should arrive here shortly to give ya directions." she directed.
You: "Thanks."

You saw a lady in a security costume walk up to you. She was a blondie with a security guard uniform. "Come on. Ill show you the way to the daycare." she spoke. You then followed her and she opened a garage looking door with a sun and a moon on the front of it. You went through a hallway and then you went into a room. 2 gold statues towered over you. A sun and a moon. You thought immediately they were the ones to be expected you would see.
Vanessa: "You could either be a child, and go down the slide. Or you can go through the doors."
The inner child part of you wanted to go down the slide, but you wanted to go through the doors. You then sighed. "Fuck it." You muttered to yourself.
"Ill go down the slide." You said.
Vanessa: "Alright then, see ya at the bottom." She went to the doors and went through.
You walked over to the slide and plopped yourself down at the entrance of the slide and pushed yourself forward. You couldnt help but giggle at the mere sight of all of these colorful parts of the slide flashing as you slid down. You pleased your inner child, atleast for a while. You then slid into a ballpit filled with probably thousands of colorful spheres. You hear a noise and you look up, you see a sun animatronic resembling the golden statue.
The sun span around once crouching down for a second and bursting up straight with a loud "HO! HO! HO!" before he dove down and the balls splashed around him. You were kinda frightened but you decided to go anyway. You walked foward and suddenly you felt yourself lifted out of the ballpit. You saw the sun infront of you and you were so close to his face plate.
"HELLO! NEW FRIEND? YOUR SURE HERE REAL EARLY! YOU SEEM A BIT OLD TO BE HERE DON'T YA THINK? HO HO! JUST KIDDIN! YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO OLD TO HAVE FUN!" He bubbled before setting you down.
Vannessa: Calm down sun. This is Y/N your assistant. We figured you would burn out like the many times before. So we set up an application for an assistant, and now here they are.
Sun: "PFFT- WHAT NONSENSE! I COULD DO THIS ALL BY MYSELF MS VANNESSA! I DON'T NEED AN ASSISTANT. BUT IF YOU DO INSIST." He turned to look at you, his colors were dull and worn out. But atleast he could still convey emotion and fuction pretty normally.
Vannessa: "Alright then sun. Take care and Y/N, be careful." She turned around and walked out closing the doors behind her. You quickly clocked in at the front desk.
Sun: "So Y/N do you like to fingerpaint? Draw? Play games? We have TONS to do here, I dont think its possible to be bored." He then chuckled. "But I do have a rule here. Keep the lights ON. ON. On." He said in a serious tone. "Okay then- you said with suspicion"

You two then spent a lot of time together, talking, playing activities, and setting up for the children. Soon the clock striked 8 and you heard the first few knocks at the door. Sun opened the door and then kids started to dog pile him. You jumped up and ran to him, but he put his hand up to stop you and stood up with ease. "Do not worry Ive got this."
He picked off the children like grapes and set them down. "Now now. You all know that you shouldnt do that as soon as you get in. What should you actually do? "Play, Have fun, and keep the lights on." the children said in sync. Sun nodded.
"Who is that?" one of the children pointed out to you. "Why thats my assistant. Meet Y/N." You waved to the children "Hello Y/N!" The children said and then they ran off to the activities laid out on tables or just chased eachother around. "This could be easy. Just gotta make sure the children don't get hurt. Soon nap time came along and sun grabbed the blankets, pillows, and matresses. And went to a little nap time room He laid down everything and the children scrambled to get in the beds and they looked at you. "Can you read us a story?" one of the children said. "Oh! Sure kids." you looked at sun, and he nodded. You went to a little bookshelf and looked at the books. "Lets take a vote." You said "Little Red Riding hood, The Three Little Pigs, or Charlottes web." The kids voted for The Three Little Pigs. And you began to read. Once you finished the children were fast asleep and you walked out. And turned out the lights behind you. As you walked out, sun was standing there. "Thanks for getting the little ones to sleep." He thanked. "It was no problem sunny." you said and covered your mouth. He looked at you and his eyes glowed a bit and some light blush covered his cheeks. "Sunny. Hah. I havent been called that one in a hot minute." He muttered a little." you smiled at him.

After naptime and the children went home you and sun chatted and cleaned up everything. "Y'know I really enjoy your company sunny." you told him. "And I enjoy yours as well." He said. You two looked at eachother and smiled. In your mind: Oh my goodness.. Am i falling for an animatronic..? No. No I couldnt be.. But I might just be." And you looked up at him. There was something about him you couldnt resist. His smile.. His laughter.. Everything about him was perfect. (THIS IS NOT THE START OF A YANDERE Y/N ARC 😡) You realized you had to clock out before you did, "Hey sunny?" you said. "Yes Y/N?" He answered. You put a hand on his face plate and pulled him down and gave him a little smooch on the cheek. He looked absolutely flabbergasted and his face turned red and his eyes lit up alot and he covered his face. You chuckled. "Goodbye sunny have a good night." He looked at you. "Aww.. You have to leave? Alright then. Goodnight Y/N." You clocked out, got your keys, and went home. All you could think about was sun. He was so kind, funny, and everything. You loved him so much and maybe, this would turn into something. 😏
