Mr. Alexander called my name and I turned around to the glare of the head lights he turned them off and I glanced at him.

He was smirking.

“Get in the car young lady”

He was not like this in school I liked him this way. I slid into his front passenger seat. When we pulled out onto the road I turned the music up really loud. I crossed my legs and I noticed him straining not to look.

“Why were you in Bec’s street?”

“I live not far from there I was heading home when I saw you stumbling around”

“Hey! I wasn’t stumbling”

I stretched my leg out on his dash board and he looked. Suddenly the sound of a horn sounded and we served forcing me to whack my head against the window. I heard the glass smash.

And then nothing. Everyone thing went black.

When I came too I saw that we had stopped just before a tree thank god.

“Shit. Lucy is you ok?”

I lifted to turn and look at him when a rush of dizziness overcame me.

“Whoa”

I held my head and felt something wet and warm.

“Fuck.Fuck. Shit Lucy I’ve got to get you to a hospital”

“No I’m fine don’t take me there please”

He held my head softly and caressed my forehead.

“Where is the cut?”

“It’s just above your hairline”

I sighed into his palm.

“No you’re not you got knocked out, Are you sure your alright you look abit pale, Do you feel alright?”

“Yeah but it could be from the drinking”

“I’ll take you to my house and clean it up, you might need some stitches lucky for you I know how to do stitches”

“Have you done any medical training?”

“My mother taught me she’s a doctor”

I was silent the rest of the car trip, I kept dozing off but Mr. Alexander wouldn’t let me

He gave me his shoulder to lean on into the house.

“Take a seat I’ll go get equipment and a glass of water”

I laid my head back on his couch, It was so comfy if he hadn’t of come in that minute I would have been asleep.

“Ok drink some water with these”

He handed me some pills.

I swallowed the pills and sat back again.

“I’m going to put your hair up for you its needs to be as tight as possible so no hair gets in the stitches”

He went behind the couch and started pulling my hair back into a tight ponytail.

“Your hair is amazing” he said as his fingers ran through it.

When he started doing the stitches I wouldn’t stop fidgeting so he had to straddle me which made it even harder not to move, being so close to him set off a fire in my heart that spread fast through my body.

“There now that wasn’t so bad was it?”

I went to touch the stitches but he gasped and caught on to my wrist.

“Don’t touch!”

He wiped some anesthetic on the cut.

“Sorry about the crack in the window”

“Don’t worry about it the crack in your head is more of a worry”

“I know this is a lot to ask and its inappropriate but would I be able to crash here tonight, Its just that my head is killing me”

He sighed and stood up.

“That’s not the best idea Lucy”

“I know I’m sorry it was stupid of me to ask”

“I didn’t say no” He shook his head.

“I should say no but we aren’t doing anything wrong and it is my fault you’re in pain the least I can do is give you a place to rest”.

We sat there in deadly silence. I wanted to rip my own hair out.

“I won’t tell anyone!”

I blurted out and he smiled.

“You can have my bed Lucy I’ll sleep on the couch”

I knew if I fought I wouldn’t win, it would be pointless.

“Thank you so much this means a lot really”

He looked at my dress and my heels.

“Are you sleeping in that? Cause I can grab you one of my shirts”.
