☆ 3rd person POV ☆

The Alolan Raichu lowered his bright yellow ears as he looked at his desk. Papers, upon papers layered on the flat wooden platform. Especially when he glanced at the only money he had left.

He was the owner of the Great Scarlet and Violet circus. However, there wasn't enough money to keep it going. The circus had become almost completely bankrupt.

Pixel sighed, knowing he had to inform the others. He got up from his chair and went to the door.
" Iseul? ", He called.
" Yes, sir? ", The Dragonite replied, turning to him.
" Could you come here? ", Pixel asked, gesturing him inside.
" Of course. ", Iseul stated, nodded and walking over to him.

After both were inside, Iseul noticed the saddened and distressed expression on his boss's face.
" Are you alright? ", He asked, concerned.
" No, I'm afraid something terrible has happened. And unfortunately, I don't have the heart to bring the news to the others. I need you to tell them for me. ", Pixel informed, looking away.
Iseul waiting patiently as Pixel heavily hesitated in his reply.

" We've gone bankrupt. I'm so sorry. ", Pixel finally stated, tears building up in his eyes.
" So, it's over? ", Iseul questioned, in a calm and low voice.
" Yes, I wish it never came to this. This was my passion after all. I love my family in this circus. I'm not sure why the future had brought us here. I only wanted to make pokémon smile. I don't- ", Pixel rambled, stopping by his tears preventing his words.

Iseul had never seen his boss so upset. It pained his heart to see the usually quite bubbly Raichu so distressed.
" Could I hug you? ", He asked, opening his arms.
Pixel nodded and fell into Iseul's arms. Iseul then wrapped them around Pixel and held him, comfortably. Along with rubbing circles on his back.

After a couple of minutes, both pokémon emerged from the door. Iseul stood tall with a disappointed, yet strong look. Pixel hid behind him, standing by his side, peeking out at the others.

" Everyone, I have a terrible announcement to make. ", Iseul announced.
All the Pokémon looked at him, giving him their full attention. He sighed before opening his mouth and jaw to speak once more.
" It's over. The circus can not go on any longer. We do not have enough money to keep the show going. I am so sorry. The only option is to accept this and disband. We all should look into other jobs and careers to pursue. I will miss you all. ", He told everyone.

Various gasps and sad exclaims exploded from the crowd. However, one seemed to be the loudest of them all. It was a Sylveon, named Adelina.

' The circus can't be over! This was my live long dream! It can't just end like that! There must be a way to reverse this! ', Adelina's mind shouted.
Tears began to drip down her face. Which smeared the makeup upon her white and pale pink fur.

Isbert was devastated when Adelina told him the heartbreaking news. He couldn't bare to see his love this upset. So, he had an idea. He wasn't sure how or if this idea would work, but he had to try. He just had to.

- Small Timeskip -

There was a knock on the door that flicked in Pixel's ears.
" Come in! ", He shouted towards it.
" Hello, sir. ", A voice greeted.

Pixel looked over and there stood a recognizable Glaceon.
" Why, hello Isbert. How are you? I'm sure you've heard the news from your lover, Adelina. ", Pixel stated, with a sigh.
" Yes, I have. That's why I've come to you with a proposal. ", Isbert announced, strongly.
" A proposal? What for? ", Pixel asked, giving the Glaceon a puzzled look.
" I wish to buy the circus from you, sir. ", Isbert stated.

" Buy the circus!? ", Pixel repeated, flabbergasted.
" Yes, sir. You heard me correctly. ", Isbert assured.
" Will you really attempt keep my circus running? ", Pixel questioned, with an echo of hope in his voice.
" Yes, I will. I will do anything and everything I can to keep it going. ", Isbert confirmed, firmly.

" Alright, I will let you purchase my circus. However, on one condition... ", Pixel stated, trailing off.
Isbert waited patiently for the boss's answer.
" I still want to be a part of the circus. Even if it's behind the scenes or even an announcer such as Iseul. I love my crew like my family, Isbert. And from what I've been told, home is where the heart is. My heart belongs here, Isbert. ", Pixel firmly expressed.
" Of course, sir. I will not keep you away from your family here. You'll always be a part of the show. You're an essential part to this beautiful circus after all. ", Isbert assured, with a smile upon his lips.
" Thank you, boy. ", Pixel breathed out, relieved.

- Timeskip -

Lights and sounds scattered under the enormous circus tent. Various species of pokémon filled the stands, with expressions of joy and bliss. The smell of popcorn, soda, and cotton candy wisped and flicked in every direction.

The performers were everywhere in the ring. And in the middle, was Isbert, the new owner of the circus. He was the ring leader, conducting the delight of everyone inside the red and yellow tent.

After the show, Adelina draped herself onto Isbert. Her white and pink-dipped paws were wrapped around him, tightly. She lightly kissed his pale blue cheek and snuggled into his neck for a moment. After she pulled away, she had a wide grin upon her face.

" I still can't believe you actually brought back my dream. Plus, the circus had never been so popular as well! I love you so, so, so, so much, Isbert. I'm so glad I fell in love with you. I would do it over and over again if I had to. ", Adelina told him.

Circus time! Honestly, I really like this idea and the two oneshots I've made out of it. I hope you enjoy this oneshot as I did making it! :D

Also, as you can see, I'm beginning to add more species of pokémon into these oneshots. I'm experimenting with them and I only enjoy it. Also, I do want to say that I might open a Pokémon X Pokémon ship oneshot book in the near future. Please tell me if you would like to see it! Or even which ships you would like to see! :)
