When I came home, it was around 10. I left home at 6, fuck. Time often flies away when I'm with Asher. Blair hates him as much as I hate her boyfriend, Kai. He is finally mentioned what a step! Why do I hate Kai? He's a dumb terrible guy who has continuously fucked my sister over. I saw my foster parents car outside the house, to ignore the long talk I knew would come, I did the only better choice which is of course to climb up the house to my window. I made it safely into my room and yes, thankfully no parents in the room or anywhere in fact meaning = they're asleep. I looked over and saw my sister sitting up on the bed on her phone.

"What'd you say for me?" I looked over at her hoping she didn't snitch.

"That you went for a run. No questions asked so I don't know how much of that info flew into their minds. How was your trip?"

"Great, we grabbed some food from his moms friend's house, you know Miss C? She makes amazing food. After, we just hung out. Meaning we went and did some more pot and kinda forgot about everything? That's bad I know. Spare. The. Lecture."

"You could've spent time with your amazing sister who loves you more than that bastard but noooo let's leave 'annoying' Blair in her messy state."

"I'm sorry ok? You know I'd never leave like that but come on, this was the first time we met this week give me a break. I like him. I just don't wanna lose that."

"You never say, 'I love him'. You know that right? Night Liana." With that Blair went to bed. I rolled my eyes knowing that she was right. I've never loved anyone though, apart from Blair so it's always been an issue to say it. Whatever. I took a deep breath and went to sleep.
. . . . .
In the mornings, I wake up early and go for a little run around the block then I get ready. By that time my sisters already up and ready and I drive us to school in my Jeep. Me and my sister were very different in school I'd say. The only thing we had in common was the fact that we did cheer. That was because she suggested I join with her. She was the popular girl and dating as well as socialising was easy for her. She knew how to talk just right, knew how to walk just right and knew how to act just right. It'd work every damn time. Today, she was playing the game with Kai. This game would happen every few weeks, she'd flirt with a guy then Kai gets jealous and wants to fight for her again. I applaud her for it.

I on the other hand could never manage that. I'm kinda shy I guess? Very to myself and many people know me as just Blair's younger, less interesting sister. I was much smarter than Blair though. Always an A+ student, it kinda came naturally, I'm a big reader though so makes it easy to study. I don't mind my status in school, being popular is nice and everything but damn it must be hard work having to keep up that image 24/7. I made my way over to my friend group consisting of Luna, Jade and Hazel. We came to the school around the same time and decided to form a friend group. I found it easy to gel with all of them and they also hated my boyfriend as much as my sister so of course we're best friends.
. . . . .
Me and jade made our way over to 1st period. She's in basically all of my classes so I often walk there with her, first class of the day: calculus. The most irritating thing ever but when you have someone to chat the lesson away with it's not too bad.

"Hello class, we have a new student. Mason, introduce yourself then. They don't bite." Miss Avery laughed, she always laughs at her own jokes, will she ever get over that? Nope. I looked over to the new kid. Black curly hair, tall, soft lips and tanned skin with mint green eyes.

"Hi, I'm Mason. I moved here from Atlanta. I'm glad I could make it all the way over in one piece?" He pulled in a tight smile showing how sarcastic that last comment was.

"Good. You can sit next to Julianna. Wave Julianna."

I waved looking over at jade trying not to laugh. He walked over and sat next to me. "Call me Liana. No matter how many times she says Julianna, everyone calls me Liana."

"You have a pretty name liana. I wish I had a long enough name to make up a nick name so I could use it as a conversation starter." He says making eye contact with me.

"I-I...it's not that convenient actually sometimes people confuse me for other people and that wouldn't be helpful if I was kidnapped..I guess."

"You seem, nervous. There's no reason to be nervous, I'm not a judgy person you can relax. Also about the kidnapping, if we become friends, I watch true crime so you'd be a bit safer."

"Thank you." I smile.

"Julianna and Mason quiet down please."

I tore a bit of paper from my page and wrote on it 'I can show you around at lunch if you want?' I gave it to him and received a nod. We focus back on the class and I feel his hand lightly touch mine, a flutter of butterflies arise in me. I haven't felt that for ages...
