"Jiaqi, Jiaqi!" The redheaded woman called out to the short haired woman who was at the balcony, clear glass of red wine in her hand.
With a faraway gaze in her hazel brown eyes, she took small sips from her glass, seemingly not able to hear her name being called.
Exasperated, the redheaded made her way to stand beside the short haired woman.
"Jiaqi, I know that you are mad, but out of everyone, you should know that those pictures of me and Xiaotang are fake! Please! Who would believe it?? Me and her??? WHAT" The redheaded glared at the stone-faced woman who was ignoring her as she took yet another sip of her red wine as she directed her gaze to the moon.
"Babe. Please. Look at me." Ears perking at being called 'Babe', the short haired woman's eyes hardened even more.
Noticing this change, the redhaired's eyes sharpened as she snatched the wine glass from her girlfriend of 7 years, just as she was about to take another sip.
The redhaired downed the remaining wine in one gulp as Jiaqi finally turned her head to look emotionlessly at Xueer, before she turned her entire body to walk past her, and back into their apartment.
Jiaqi even slid the sliding doors to the balcony shut, leaving Xueer out in the cold on the balcony with the empty wine glass. It was winter season, no less.
Xueer watched the whole time in unfair disbelief, clutching the base of the wine glass as her knuckles turned white.

In their shared bedroom, after Xueer placed the glass in the kitchen's sink, Xueer got under the covers beside Jiaqi who was stubbornly facing away from her.
As the bed dipped from Xueer's weight, Jiaqi threw the covers over her head as she inched as far as she could away from her girlfriend without falling off the bed.
"Babe~" The red haired whined at the distance that Jiaqi was putting between the two of them.
The distance that Jiaqi decided was not enough as she suddenly got up and grabbed the covers and her pillow to move out of the room and to sleep on the living room couch for the night...or nights.
Xueer glared as she bored her eyes into the back of Jiaqi's skull. Her girlfriend was being unreasonable. Xueer sighed as she knew that it was pointless trying to talk to her girlfriend when she is like this, so she resigned to sleep on the bed with only her pillow as she shivered for the rest of the night.

Xueer was woken up by the door slamming shut as she groggily got herself out of bed to see the empty living room couch. Her girlfriend had left to rehearse for her first showcase without even saying bye..
Xueer felt her heart drop to the pit of her stomach as she swallowed the uneasy feeling. Even during their worst fights, Jiaqi was never this cold, so many times in a row. They usually talked it out.
"What the hell... this isn't even my doing." Xueer complained as she pulled the ends of her red hair in frustration.
Xueer headed to the kitchen as she opened the fridge that looked the same as yesterday.
"Unreasonable fox, didn't even have her breakfast." Xueer sighed in disapproval as she pulled out a lunchbox from a drawer, since she has decided that she will make lunch for the fox as a peace offering.
After 30 minutes...
"She should be sorry! Why am I making it up to her? She should be making it up to me!" Xueer ranted to the empty apartment while she used the chilli bottle to draw a smiley face on the omelet in the lunchbox, out of habit.
