when we got there the boys were already there, we all sat at the table and I sat next to Hyeon-joong, we made eye contact and we smiled at each other, he's dimples omw, RIP Rosé reason Hyeon-joongs dimples. "What's our main dish?" So-yeon asks and Si-hun shows us the ingredients we have. "Let's divide the work. Some of us cook, some of us go bring water and some of us clean" se-hoon suggests and that's actually a great idea, I want to cook since I love cooking. We all begin to do our tasks given to us by se-hoon as he seems to be a professional cook with the way he operates around the kitchen.
" So our main dish is ssambap.What else are we making?" Se-hoon ask everyone and not gonna lie, after seeing him in the kitchen I find him more attractive and makes me want to get to know him more. " why don't we make stir-fried spring onion kimchee?" I suggest and he says" How about some doenjang soup with this?" He ask me and before I can answer So-yeon asks "Can we make do that" and se-hoon says to her "We can just make some broth with doenjang and cook the cabbages and onions with it." And she says let's try it. "Okay. Finish this up first.I'll cook the soup when you're done" He tells me as I was cutting the onions with So-yeon, I look at the onions and say "Two should be enough for all of us". He looks at me " Do you want an apron? So you don't ruin your clothes?" he asks while taking off his apron and I can't help but blush because that's so nice of him to do "An apron? Okay" I tell him and he helps me wear it and I can't help but giggle as he does " there you go, I think this will be okay, Does it look all right?" He asks me while standing behind me and tying my apron at the back and I'm too flustered to reply so I just nod my head.
I look up and notice Hyeon-joongs looking at us but shrug it off "let me see, the collar." Se-hoon tells me and he fixes it for me "thank you" I tell him with a smile as I go back to cutting the onions and he goes outside, I can't help but glance at him with a smile as he walks past when I put the onions in a bowl.
When I'm done, Ji-a asks me to help her wash the rice and I say okay, so I stand next to Hyeon-joongs by the sink and I say absentmindedly "how much rice should we make?" And he turns around and says "Isn't one cup of rice about two servings?" I'm shocked that he spoke to me cause this whole day he hasn't said a word to me. " one cup.two servings?" I ask him as I pour the rice in the bowl " i think so, One cup, two to three servings" he replies while watching me, jin-taek says ten cups should be enough and I can't help but ask him "Are you from Busan?" And he seems confused for a second before he tells me " I'm from Gyeongsang province." And I nod but then Hyeon-joongs says "Ten cups would be too much" while washing his hands and I nod, Ji-a ask me if I'm done and I tell her almost so she goes to help Jin-taek and there a comfortable silence between me and Hyeon-joong as I finish.
I give Ji-a the rice when I'm done and she goes to wash it, and I wait for her, and Hyeon-joong still stands next to me as he cuts up some more onions, I can feel him glancing at me from time to time so I look at him and smile but then Ji-a calls me and i go to her. We go outside and to se-hoon, Si-hun and Yea-won and eventually Si-hun burns his hand accidentally so we make sure he's okay and he goes inside with Ji-a to cool his hand. After a while I decided to go inside to wash the dishes before we dish up, as I'm washing the dishes se-hoon comes in " Are you washing the dishes?" And I say yes, he laughs when I say " I shouldn't use too much water" and he comes around the sink to stand next to me "here let me do it" and I feel bad making him wash the dishes so I tell him " it's okay. I'm good at washing dishes." But he insists " it's okay. I'll do it.This way we can do it faster" and I wash and he rinses the dishes , I can't help but be amazed by how fast he is,"We should wash them while we have water" he tells me as if he read my mind.
When we're done, he heads outside to help out, and I go to get water with jin-taek and Hyeon-joong after they invited me. As we are walking we talk and Hyeon-joong asks" Did you women get to talk a bit?" And I tell him we talked about our ideal types at this they both become very interested I could tell. " What's your ideal type like" jin-taek asks me and I say " I like guys who are sweet and are tall" and they both nod their head.
After we get the water, Hyeon-joong volunteers to carry them on his shoulders and we help him put on the water bucket thingy on, I check to make sure he's okay and it's not too heavy before we all start walking back to the cafeteria and I'm shocked by how easily he carries the water bucket on his shoulders. We joke around as we walk back and I can't help but noticing how he's veins are popping out and I tell him," They might actually pop.But really, look.They're popping out." He says to me and jin-taek agrees with him. " It's amazing" I tell him.
When we get back, the rest of the group had dished up and were waiting on us. After we put the water away, we all sit down to eat "shall we begin?" Se-hoon ask and So-yeon says " shall we?" And we all begin to eat and it tastes good. "I feel like I'll be the first one to wake up tomorrow" Hyeon-joong says randomly and Jun-sik asks him to wake him up and Hyeon-joong says yes. As we're eating I can't help but notice how se-hoon seems to be enjoying the food and I can't help but giggle and say "Se-hoon seems like he's in heaven" and everyone looks at him and Hyeon-joong offers him his rice but se-hoon smiles and says "I'm good. The rice is so good" and we all laugh.
After we're all done we all go to our tents and while we are talking the intercom chimes "Now, you will choose a person you like and convey your feelings for them." We all grasp from shock as we didn't expect this " I didn't think we'd vote today" Yea-won says and we all agree "I'm suddenly so nervous" Ji-yeon says while laughing. "You'll see postcards in your rooms.Write down how you feel about the person you like on a postcard." I hope we don't have to give it to them in person cause that's so awkward. "And put it in the mailbox where the name of the person is written.Please decide now." Ohh who am I gonna choose. The girls had to write the postcard and put them in the mailboxes first, I finally decided on one person and put my postcard in their mailbox with a smile.
