It was almost summer, yet these students had about a month left of school to go. The cool breeze in the air causing the trees to sway, was calming.

Gwen was about seventeen when she met Maury, which was older than her by about four months. Later, Gwen found out that Maury just moved about two houses down the road. That's where her new friendship begins.

Hitting my alarm clock to the ground, I got up in my polka dot PJ's, and stretched.
"Ugh....Mornings like these are hard."
I said to myself, pacing towards the bathroom. Although it was Friday, I had to cram for a test last night. It was terrible!

I barely got enough sleep. I brushed my teeth, then brushed my long brown hair, braiding it into a mess

Putting on my tank top and shorts, I grabbed my backpack, lunch, kissed my little sister goodbye, and ran out in my new converse shoes.

Did I ever mention how much I hated buses? Well, now's a good time. Our school has plenty of kids, but not enough space. It's crammed, loud, and rambunctious. I learned some breathing techniques that help me calm down. After all, I do have anxiety.

About two seats in front of me, is Emilee, the wicked bitch at it's best. She's your basic plastic girl, except ten times worse. Usually she sits about three or four seats in front of me instead of two, and I was sitting in my usual spot; seat five.

"Hey, loser."
I looked up to see Emilee glaring at me.

"You're sitting too close to me. Go sit somewhere else where I won't be disgusted, like...." Her fingernail was mapping the bus for the worst guy to sit next to.

"Oh, I found a good spot for you! Seat eighteen." Turning around, I saw a Jock waving at me with a questionable look on his face.

At first, I didn't move.

"Excuse me? I asked you to move. So move it!" I grabbed my things and sat beside this six foot man. I felt so terrified that I began to shake.

The Jock looked at me. "Hey pretty lady....why ya shakin'? Are you cold? Here...let me warm you up."

"Um...n-no um..I...."
Before I got out a word, he put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer.

"P-please don't..."
He looked offended.

"What did you just say? If you're talking back to me i'm going t-"
The bus came to a halt. We were at school. Finally.

Slipping free, I readjusted my backpack and jolted for the bus door.

Arriving at school, I survived the first two classes, took my test, then headed to seminar. Nothing too exciting happens in my first too classes. Yet, I was still exhausted from my almost-panic attack episode on the bus this morning.

I found other ways to calm down.
I really enjoy nature, and beamed at the sight of discovering new flowers, how they grow, etc. I even built my own terrarium.
So, before class, I got a new book called: "A Beginner's Guide to Finding Flowers". Reading my book , the room was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop.

I almost did, until there was a knock on the door.
