Chapter 2

Amelia's pov:

I woke up and the sun is really bright today.
I'm so happy,not because of the sun but because I'm going to meet Leon.
But how will I trick my friends and my parents?
Think Amelia think.
I should just sneak out.

Finally I'm out of the mansion.
Well as you know I'm a duchess.
My father is duke Orleans.
I have royal blood in my veins but I don't really wish to be royal.
Anyway wait for me Leon.

I took the necklace and did what Leon told me ,I touched the necklace and called his name.
"Leon appear before me ,your darling is calling you"
Wait!If he is vampire he should be sleeping at this time.

"Sorry to keep you waiting my darling"

"Leon you came"

"Of course my lady,I always keep my promise to you"

After that we started to talk .

"I think you should go home now,the sunset will come soon so it's better to go home"

"Okay then see you tomorrow"

"See you my darling"

After that I went home.

Everyday I went there and talked with Leon,we talked about many things but I never asked him if he was a vampire.

The time really goes fast and now I'm 17.

"Amelia are you ready?"

"Yes mother, I'm coming"

Today the king asked to see our family,I don't know why but I really have a bad feeling,I hope nothing bad happens.

After that we hoped inside the carriage.

Now we are in front of the royal palace.

"You can come inside duke Orleans,the king is waiting for you "

After that we went inside.

"It's been a long time since I last saw you Duke Orleans,I called you today for a really important topic"

"What is it my king?" My dad asked him

"I want to have another wife"

"Oh"

"I want your daughter to be my third wife"

I'm really shocked hearing this,how am I supposed to marry someone who is almost the same age as my dad ,no way that I'm marrying him, please dad say something.

"With all due respect but my daughter is still young,she just turned 17"

"She is old enough to get married,and that's my final word"

"But-" my father's sentence was cut by him

"Do you want to die?"

"No,my king"

"Then I will marry your daughter"

"As you wish my king"
My dad said,he didn't even negotiate.
So now I will get married to an old person.

"Then the marriage will take place one month from this day"

"As you wish my king" my dad said

"As you wish my king" my mother said.

So I am doomed, should I ask Leon for help,nah I don't think it's a good idea,he is a vampire and in the worst scenario he will kill the king.
Should I escape?
I think this is the best plan,but what if King kills my parents after my escape?No I can't put my parents in danger.
I think I should just marry him and then pray and wait till he dies.
I hope he dies in our wedding day.
