chapter 8: fujoshi or fudanshi

3rd person's pov

zuìda woke up and grabbed his phone from his nightstand and texted Faith (A/N: that's me btw)

Zuìda: you here yet

Faith: yea I'm here. Also tell me why I have to tell them I'm a boy?

Zuìda: because this is an all-boy school and if they knew you were a girl the headmaster would kick you out

Faith: okay

A few minutes later zuìda heard a knock on the door. He got up from his bed and opened it, it was faith, she was wearing a black mask and jeans and a red hoodie, she pulled on her mask down and said "hey zuìda, I haven't seen you in a long time. Well ever since you moved back to Japan." she walked in. "Hey faith" Zuìda said. They both sat on the bed, "how are people supposed to know that I'm a boy, when I look like a girl." Faith asked, "wait put your hood on" Zuìda told her, she put on her hood "see now you look like a boy." Zuìda says. They chatted in room, talking about school, friends, and mostly just goofing off. "Faith when I introduced you to my friends you have to sound like a dude." Zuìda tell her, "that's easy" she says.

They left zuìda's room and went to the photography room. While they were walking to the photography room faith said "zuìda before we get there can I use a another name, i'm only gonna be here for two days so I just think I should use another name." "Sure you can do that you don't have to ask me, I'm not your owner or something." Zuìda says back, "can I just ask...what name are you gonna use?" He asked, "umm I guess fudanshi is good." She said, "fudanshi? That's a questionable nickname." Zuìda says to her, "why?" Faith asked, "well cause that's a Japanese term for a male who reads boy x boy manga." Zuìda says, "is it the- nevermind. Are we almost there?" She asked, "yea" They finally got there, zuìda slowly opened the door, 'hopefully their not doing anything lewd in here' zuìda thought to himself, they were just sitting down chilling and stuff. "Hey Zuìda. Who's that person behind you?" Shikatani asked. "This is american my friend... Tell them your name." Zuìda says, "Hey I'm zuìda's friend, I'm only staying here for two days. Anyway this isn't my real name but you can just call me fudanshi." She told them. "Fudanshi?" They all said, "he'll be staying in my room." Zuìda told everyone, they both left. 'is that his boyfriend or something' tamura thought, 'what's with the weird nickname?' shikatani thought. Tamura grabbed his phone from his pocket and texted zuìda

Tamura: is fudanshi your bf

Zuìda: no, plus I'm not his type

Tamura: okay then what is his type?

Zuìda: he likes guys who are shorter than him, who wear glasses

Tamura: how tall is he?

Zuìda: 5'8 I think. Are you into him

Tamura: no. Cause he likes guys with glasses, i don't wear glasses

Zuìda: alright bye

Tamura: bye

Zuìda turns his phone off. "Hey dude, you wanna hit it?" Faith says, "huh?" Zuìda says with a confused look on his face, "(oh my God) smoke weed." faith says, "what if they smell it?" Zuìda said, "we can just do edibles then." She tells him, "okay" he replies. She takes her red duffle bag and opens a small compartment and pulls out a bag full of girl scout cookies, "faith those are girl scout cookies, you know that right?" Zuìda tells her, "they have weed in them, so if anyone ever came in here they would think we're just eating regular ass cookies." She explains, "okay, that is really smart. I kinda miss the way we used to do it though." Zuìda said, she opens the bag and takes out two cookies and hands one to zuìda. Faith takes a bite out of it, but zuìda just takes a nibble then takes a bite, "I think I can kinda taste the weed." Zuìda says. They were just sitting there eating the last bit of their cookies.
