Fran's flashback: Teacher: Beastmen strive to become stronger by Evolving. They take great pride in Evolution. Fran's parents took their daughter with them on their journey to Evolve. But no Black Cat has ever been able to Evolve. Fran's parents were no luckier. Their journey came to an end before they reached their goal. Now, Fran sets out to fulfill their dream of Evolution... by doing all she can to grow strong and powerful!
End of flashback: Sonic and Fran were in their stance as they see goblins trying to kill a rabbit.
Sonic: Oh no you don't!
Sonic dive kicks the goblin that has the rabbit and catches it.
Sonic: You're okay little fella. Now go.
The rabbit hops away.
The other goblins try to attack Sonic, but he easily dodges them.
Sonic: Fran!
Fran jumps up and slashes the goblins and uses a Sword Art.
Fran: Sword Art: Triple Thrust!
Fran attacks the last goblin three times as Sonic spin dashes it as it dies.

Sonic: Nice one!
Fran: Thanks.
They hi-fived each other.
As they were by the mountains, Fran creates a water magic to clean hers and Sonic's hands.
Sonic: Thanks, Fran.
Fran smiles. She then wipes Teacher as she goes to clean him.
Fran: You're dirty, too, Teacher.
Teacher: (Fran's such a sweet kid! I'm so glad I have an amazing girl like her as my wielder. I'm gonna dedicate my life-my new life to making her strong and powerful!)
Sonic and Fran's ears then heard something from a distance.
Sonic: Fran!
Fran nods in agreement as they rush to the scene.
Teacher: Fran, what is it? Hey! Say something!
Sonic: It can only be one thing... Goblins.
A bunch of goblins were surrounding a man that's trying to fight and a dog like creature who's on a cart.
Randell: Dammit! Stay back! get out of here!
Dog: You didn't say we'd encounter goblins on this route! Get rid of them, Randell!
Randell: How'm am I supposed to-
The goblins were attack Randell as he blocks it with his spear. Before they could attack again, Sonic and Fran takes down the goblins. Sonic runs straight in and double kicks one of the goblins and uses Aura Punch to finish off the others. Two more goblins came from behind trying to sneak attack Fran!
