"No, I already said no, I won't build this vulger facility," the fat controller yelled over the phone.

"You don't have a choice," said the man on the other end, "either this or lose your position, it's a goverment funded project, it's not up to you."

Sir Tophem sat in silence for a while, took a few deep breaths, and responded.

"Fine. My engines will help build this facility and make deliveries, but other than that, my railway will have nothing to do with this, " He responded.

"As you wish, sir," and the man hung up.

Sir, tophem sat for a minute, and thought, a clock softly ticked in his office.

"What did I just agree to?" He thought.

Over the next few months, the engines were taking building supplies to the facility, and all were curious, as none of them knew what this facility was for.

One day, James was at Wellsworth, talking to his drivers son, Ethan.

"The facility, eh, I have mixed feelings on it, to be honest," James said.

"Do you even know what their researching?" Ethan asked.

"Ehhh no, me and some of the others have made bets though," James responded.

"Ehhh, you lot make bets on everything."

"Welcome to the 90s, Ethan," James said and chuckled.

"Well I have to go, me and some friends are going out," Ethan said, "Seeya James, bye dad, see you at home," Ethan said to his dad.

"Seeya kid," James' Driver said.

"Bye, Ethan," James said, as his driver opened his regulator, and he puffed out of the station.

Later that day, James puffed into the mainline sheds.

'Ay up lads, " He said, "how's everyone's day going?"

"Meh could be better," Arthur said.

James looked at the blue 2MT, "What's wrong?"

"Oh, he's just mad he has to take a supply train to the facility," Gordon said.

"I'm telling you something off about it!" Arthur shouted.

"Oi mate, can you keep it down? Engines gotta get some rest, " Stepney said, rolling out of his shed.

"Oh, Stepney, I forgot you were visiting. How much longer are you here?" James asked the little terrier.

"Not really a vist," Stepney said, "Me and bluebell are being run into the ground. Your controller needed all hands on deck for this whole facility rubbish," the little terrier said groggly.

"I don't get it, don't they have their own emgine?" Oliver asked from the yards.

"Yeah, 98462" Gordon said with clenched teeth.

"I thought his name was Alexander?" Arthur asked.

"Whatever," Gordon mumbled and puffed onto the turntable, "I have to go get the express, see you all tonight."

The blue engine said, and with a whistle, puffed away.

"What's his issue?" Oliver asked.

"Ehhhhh, they have some history," James said awkwardly.

"Oh, well, I have a train to take, bye guys!" Oliver said and puffed away.

"I have the facility train, I've got to go," Arthur said and rolled out of the sheds.
