Dad, I'm writing this to tell you how deeply sorry I am for being such a disappointment, and disgracing our family name. My absolute Saint of a music teacher has done no wrong and every incident has been entirely my fault. She is the most competent music teacher I've ever had the privilege of learning under, and I can assure you, I will refrain from using my common sense and experience in this class. I will never again point out that the note she played was a C, and not in fact, an E flat. I will certainly not play my guitar at lunch and "encourage incorrect techniques", and I will never make any remarks on how tone deaf she really is, and how she shouldn't even be allowed near instrument's. I'm so sorry I haven't been performing as well as I should be, and I promise I'll do better.
